FESTIVE CONTEST TO LIGHT CREATIVE SPARK Christmas is just around the corner and residents are invited to join in the spirit to light up their community as the Isaac region Christmas Lights competition is announced.
“Many of our wonderful residents and business owners spend a great deal of time and effort creating spectacular light displays that enchant both children and adults alike.
Council is encouraging residents to unpack their Christmas cheer, unravel their lights and get busy creating some festive sparkle with their light displays.
“The annual Christmas Lights competition provides a wonderful opportunity to gather together, meet the neighbours and get involved in your community.”
Mayor Anne Baker said nominations will open for this annual community Christmas tradition on November 12.
Residents wishing to help light up Isaac’s streets can find all the competition details at www.isaac.qld.gov.au/christmaslights.
“The Isaac Christmas Lights Competition will be held in Clermont, the Isaac Coast, Dysart, Glenden, Middlemount, Moranbah and Nebo,” Mayor Baker said.
