It’s Showtime! Roll up! Roll up to the Clermont Show! It’s showtime! Finalise your fine arts, polish your pumpkins, bake some biscuits, fertilize your ferns, organise your oranges or play music to your mandarins! But most important of all, check the Pavilion Schedule or the Events’ Schedule in the Clermont Rag, so your entries are in on time. Adding to show excitement, the spectacular main arena performance of Rooftop Express is an event not to be missed. Highly trained horses and farm animals perform world-first stunts and clever tricks both on the ground and on a truck roof. The first performance at approximately 7pm on Tuesday night, will be followed be the Fireworks Extravaganza and live entertainment. The final performance of Rooftop Express will be on Wednesday following the Grand Parade. One of the all-time show favourites, Old Macdonald’s Travelling Farm returns to provide the children of the Isaac Region with an enjoyable, interactive animal experience: bottle and hand feeding,
observing, feeling and brushing their farm friends. “Children love to see animals at the show, so we have arranged for this mini farm to visit again this year,” advised Show President, Scott Moller. “As well as keeping children entertained for hours, Old Macdonald’s Farm provides a unique educational experience for the young ones in our region, under the cover of UV shade.” Noah’s Thoroughbred Racing Pigs, another popular show attraction continues with its dual role at the 2015 Clermont Show. Exciting crowd entertainment combined with an opportunity to raise funds for worthy causes in the community, make the pig races a not to be missed event. Over the last six years, more than $5,000 has been donated to needy local groups. Watch for the showgirl entrants, April, Casey and Cheyanne, who will be selling tickets on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday.
No visit to the show would be complete without a ride or two in Sideshow Alley. To help ease the financial burden on families, discount tickets are available. Buy $30 ticket value for only $25. This special deal is for pre-purchase tickets only which are available until Monday May 25 at Portal Entertainment or email admin@clermontshow.com It is not possible to use these tickets to purchase show bags. Gate entry prices for the Clermont Show have not changed for many years. The Clermont Show Committee encourages you and your family to visit the show and experience the huge array of local produce and exceptional talent on display. Enjoy the show spectacles for one day or two. The gate price is the same: $5 per adult, $3 High school students and pensioners, free for children under 12.
