Iru Magazine issue 002: Make Some Noise! is a celebration of creatives, activists, essential workers, and really anyone who endured the hardships of 2020. In the midst of it all, we mourned the losses of lives, jobs, and our way of living as we knew it. In the silence, even masked, we spoke up and spoke out, we created platforms of expression, and though we are not out of the woods, we continue to make magic and document our present day, honestly and vulnerably. I hold you in my spirit every day, your sacrifices have inspired a nation divided and for this we celebrate you. You should celebrate you.
