‘LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND TO SATURN’

It’s hardly a surprise that here at Seattle Bride , we are in love with love. Every day, I open my inbox to a flood of emails recounting the happiest of days. Not a bad job, right? I do count myself as one of the lucky ones who truly loves their job. (See? We’re back to love again!) So, when it comes to creating the magazine, I’m often overwhelmed by the urge to share every story, every image and every moment of the weddings submitted. This issue is filled with inspiration, from beautiful real weddings (page 90) to discovering new venues (page 34) and finding the perfect details (pages 22 and 28).

One of the highlights of creating this issue was collaborating with some of the loveliest vendors the city has to offer. I had the good fortune to work with wonderful, creative souls on our editorial features this issue, including the creative team at Your Perfect Bridesmaid, who worked alongside me to design our catering feature and coordinate the three catering companies that delivered mouthwatering menus. Beloved Jenn Tai Photography captured the luscious cuisine (page 54). And then we made an escape to the coastal town of Seabrook—an idyllic setting that begs for a destination wedding—where we created a gorgeous flower-filled feature with From the Ground Up Floral and Alante Photography (page 46). There is so much more packed into these pages, and I hope each and every reader will find something to love.
