Abstract - This project presents a web-based smart

Additionally, the system includes road condition reports and construction work tohelpusers plan their route efficiently. Overall, this innovative solution provides a personalized, secure, and efficient commuting experience for users.
2.1 Webpage Description The web application includes a login page where registered users can authenticate using their username and password. PHP verifies these credentials against a MySQL database. Upon successful login, the system retrieves and displays the user’s vehicle information—such as vehicle number and chassis number for verification. The registration page enables new users to create an account by submitting required details. PHP is used to validate and sanitize the input before securely storing it in the database. The about us page shares information about the project's purpose, mission, and team, helping users understand the background of the application. The contact us page features a form where users can submit inquiries or feedback, which are handled using PHP to either send emails or store them in the database. The services tab is the application's core feature. Users can enter source and destination details to receive information on road conditions, traffic signals and route status. PHP connects to the database to fetch this data, which is then presented in a clear, user-friendly format. The system also uses QR code technology to securely store and retrieve vehicle- related information. Upon login, the user’s QR code is scanned to extract details like vehicle number and chassis number, which are then displayed on the web page for verification.

INTRODUCTION Commuting has become a daily necessity, with increasing reliance on personal vehicles. Managing vehicle credentials is now a major challenge due to the growing number of vehicles. This report introduces a smart commuting system—a secure, web-based platform that manages vehicle information efficiently. It features a user dashboard displaying confidential data like the owner's name, chassis number, number plate, and Aadhaar number, accessible only to authorized users. QR code integration helps prevent counterfeit number plates, enhancing security. The system also includes real-time updates on road conditions and construction work, allowing commuters to plan routes efficiently and reduce time and fuel costs. Overall, the system offers an innovative and secure solution to improve commuting efficiency and personalize user experience. 2. SMART COMPUTING SYSTEM The web application is designed using HTML and CSS to create an attractive and user-friendly interface. The HTML is used to create the structure of the web pages, such as the login page, registration page, about us page, contact us page, and services page. The CSS is used to apply styles, such as colors, fonts, and layouts, to make the web pages visually appealing and responsive. The PHP programming language is used to establish a connection with the MySQL database to store and retrieve data. The database stores information related to road condition reports, including the source and destination information, road condition status, number of traffic
