SCOPE OF WORKS
Irish Stone provide the following services:
• Consultation and advice on stone selection and methodology of ‘lift and relay’ in public realm areas.
• Supply of natural stone landscaping material for public realm, including paving, cobbles, kerbs etc.
• Installation of material, including removal of existing stone, reinstatement of construction build up including fibre reinforced concrete slabs, manholes, drainage, service ducts and finished stone paving.
• On-site adjustment or refinishing of already installed material, such as indenting damaged kerbs, or fixing damaged stone furniture items as seating or artwork. Irish Stone can also flame or shot blast surfaces insitu.

SOURCING THE MATERIAL
Irish Stone supply material to complete Public Realm schemes and are familiar with all the different stone specified across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Our stone will be the same material as the street is already paved in from the same quarry. In the event that through time the quarry has closed or the availability exhausted Irish stone will offer a very similar alternative complete with all test data to prove that the material can be deemed as “equal and approved.”
Irish Stone regularly visits the quarry’s across UK, Europe and Asia and keep watch on quality control. Our materials have all the testing data and certification that is required. Irish Stone are also distributors for some of the main concrete bedding and grout manufacturers.

NEW PROJECTS
Irish Stone, also ‘design, supply and install’ new natural stone landscapes and public realm schemes.
We have an in-house team of experienced natural stone professionals including, Architects, Architectural technicians, Landscape Architects, Landscape Designers, Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers.
In recent years we have worked on Public realm schemes in Ballymena and Carrickfergus and also completed large scale paving works for the University of Ulster in Belfast and the Google Headquarters in Grand Canal Dock, Dublin.
Currently Irish Stone are supplying and installing the new public realm scheme around the Grand Central Train and Bus Station in Belfast.
