2023: A Year of Transformational Training As a leading network within the Skillnet Ireland group of 70+ networks, Irish Medtech Skillnet continues to support and develop training programmes that ensure that the skills needs of the present and future workforce are sustained and advanced. As we close our financials and activities for last year, we can reflect on the fact that 2023 was a busy year for Irish Medtech Skillnet! We delivered more training days to more learners or companies in the medtech and manufacturing sectors than ever before. We deployed over €2.3M in Skillnet Ireland funding from the National Training Fund through the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. We supported the skills challenges of our industry by developing flagship and innovative programmes in strategic areas such as MDR, Sterility and BioInnovation, as well as a broad range of technical, regulatory, leadership and digitalisation courses to support the industry overall. Our thoughts have already turned to 2024, when we will present a robust suite of transformative training programmes to support the global medtech hub in Ireland - many of which are available to book already! We are committed to building on last year’s success as the high-value talent advisor and catalyst for skills transformation across all segments of the diverse Medtech sector, meeting organisation needs today & into the future.
