Requesting an Absence on a Mobile Device

In this section we will cover:

• How to request an absence on a mobile device

Request An Absence

Click the Request an Absence tile

The screen allows users to select the Dates, Absence type, and First-day duration. There is an option to include comments and add attachments.

Request An Absence (continued)

Select the date and click Next.

Click on the end date and select the last day of the absence. The dates appear on the screen.

Click on the Absence Type. Select the Absence and click the save and exit Icon.

If the absence required a reason, select from the list Click Save and Exit.

By default, the system will assume the first day of the absence is a whole day’s absence. Click the First day to edit.

Select Half Day or Other Hours and enter the number of hours.

Click save to submit

To add other Information, click on the comments box to enter additional information. Enter comments in this box.

Click Add Attachments to upload or take a photo.

Request A Holiday

The Holiday icon displays the total holiday entitlement and remaining holidays.

Cancel An Absence

The Cancel Absence tile lists request leave, with the option to request to cancel.

Click the Cancel Absence tile. A list of absences appears.

Swipe left on the absence; an X icon appears. Click on the X.

A pop-up screen appears. From the pop-up, click Yes to confirm or No to abandon.
