Playguide Fall/Winter 24

Page 1

Greetings from the Jersey Village Parks and Recreation Department! As we welcome the arrival of fall and winter, it's a perfect time to reflect on the wonderful memories we've created together over the past year and to look ahead at the exciting events that await us in the coming months

First and foremost, we want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in our recent events, making them the remarkable successes they were. The Concert at The Park was a standout occasion, where the community gathered to enjoy live music and a warm evening of connection and fun. Our July 4th Celebration was nothing short of extraordinary, with the unforgettable sounds of "7 Bridges," the Eagles tribute band, and a dazzling fireworks display that brought the holiday to a brilliant close. Founders Day was yet another highlight, with its thrilling rides and lively festivities paying tribute to the spirit and heritage of Jersey Village

As we transition into the winter season, we are excited to share that our upcoming events promise to be just as captivating Holiday in The Village will transform our community into a snowy paradise, complete with 10,000 pounds of snow, a snow slide for all ages, and an array of vendors and food trucks offering delightful treats. This event is sure to become a cherished tradition for all who attend. Additionally, our Fall Frolic will be returning with the fan-favorite Haunted House, which promises to deliver chills and thrills for those brave enough to enter.

Our new Golf Course Clubhouse is now open, and we warmly invite all residents to come and explore everything it has to offer. The clubhouse features state-of-the-art virtual simulators that go beyond just golf enjoy activities like soccer, football, zombie dodgeball, and much more. Whether you're planning a birthday party, a work event, or just looking for a unique recreational experience, the clubhouse is the perfect venue. Additionally, our Event Center is set to open in November, further enhancing our community's options for gatherings and celebrations

There's a special energy in Jersey Village when our community comes together. Whether you're looking to roll up your sleeves and volunteer, contribute fresh ideas, or simply take part in the fun, your involvement makes all the difference.

As we enter this new season, let's focus on the moments that bring us closer whether it's through a shared laugh at an event, working together on a project, or just enjoying the company of neighbors. We are excited about the adventures ahead and look forward to seeing familiar and new faces as we continue to make Jersey Village a place filled with warmth, connection, and pride.

VIRTUAL MEADOW

How it Works

Golf Simulators are reserved by the hour, and the rate reflects the price of the bay rental time, regardless of the number of golfers. Your session can be as short as 1 hour or extended for as long as you like, even for an entire day. On average, it takes about one hour for one person to play 18 holes on a virtual simulator. The time required may vary depending on the number of players and their pace, but as a general guideline, 2 players might need two hours, 3 players around three hours, and a foursome could take approximately three hours or more. If you are booking online, please reserve each hour individually.
