JERSEY VILLAGE PARKS & RECREATION

Summer in Jersey Village is right around the corner, and Parks & Recreation is excited to welcome another season packed with community events, programs, and opportunities for residents of all ages to connect, stay active, and make lasting memories.
After a fantastic year of participation and growth across our programs, we are bringing back many community favorites while continuing to expand what we offer The season will kick off with Concert at the Park, where neighbors can gather for live music in a relaxed outdoor setting, followed by our always-popular Founders Day celebration featuring rides, games, competitions, food trucks, and family entertainment. These signature events continue to be some of the most anticipated traditions in Jersey Village and highlight the strong sense of community we are proud to foster.
For families and youth, the summer lineup is full of exciting opportunities. The Youth Duathlon returns for another high-energy competition focused on fitness and fun, and Milky Way Summer Camp is back with a full schedule of themed activities, field trips, and hands-on experiences designed to keep kids engaged, learning, and active throughout the break
The Jersey Meadow Convention Center will once again serve as a hub for entertainment and social connection, hosting popular adult events such as Dueling Pianos Night and Casino Night. Both events were major hits last year and continue to grow as favorite nights out for residents looking to enjoy live entertainment close to home.
One of the biggest highlights of the season, of course, is Jersey Village’s July 4th Festival. This year’s celebration promises an unforgettable evening featuring our traditional parade, community activities, food vendors, and a live Queen tribute concert, all leading up to a spectacular fireworks show to close out the night.
In addition to these major events, residents can enjoy ongoing programs such as fitness classes, youth athletics, markets, and special pop-up activities throughout the summer, providing something for everyone to enjoy each week.
Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to Jersey Village, Parks & Recreation invites you to be part of another exciting summer filled with fun, connection, and community pride We look forward to seeing you in our parks, at our facilities, and at events all season long as we continue building experiences that bring Jersey Village together.
