Letter From the Parks & Recreation Department
Fall is one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year in Jersey Village, and Parks & Recreation is ready for another season packed with community traditions, special events, programs, and opportunities to bring neighbors together. This year’s fall lineup features several of our biggest annual events, beginning with the return of JV Brewfest for its third year. What started as a new addition to our event calendar has quickly become a community favorite, bringing together local breweries, live entertainment, food, and a great social atmosphere for adults to enjoy right here in Jersey Village. October also brings back Fall Frolic, one of our largest family events of the year. Thousands of residents and visitors come together for an evening of trunk-or-treating, games, entertainment, food, and Halloween fun. Fall Frolic continues to grow each year and remains one of the best opportunities for families to celebrate the season together. As fall turns toward the holidays, we will close out the season with Holiday in the Village. This community tradition brings Jersey Village together to celebrate the holidays with festive activities, entertainment, and plenty of opportunities for families to make memories before the end of the year.
Beyond our signature events, there is plenty happening throughout the season. The Jersey Village Market will continue showcasing local vendors, food, handmade goods, and unique finds, while our recreation programs, fitness classes, community activities, and special pop-up events provide even more ways for residents of all ages to stay active and involved. This fall will also be an exciting time for our parks as several major improvements continue taking shape throughout Jersey Village. These projects represent an investment in the future of recreation in our community and will create even more opportunities for residents to play, gather, compete, and spend time outdoors. Whether you are joining us at JV Brewfest, bringing the family to Fall Frolic, celebrating the holidays at Holiday in the Village, shopping at the Jersey Village Market, or simply enjoying one of our parks and programs, there is plenty to experience this season. We hope this edition of the Playguide helps you find new ways to get involved, connect with your community, and enjoy everything Jersey Village has to offer this fall. We look forward to seeing you out there throughout the season.
