International Women’s Day

As part of International Women’s Day, our second year history group visited Hanna SheehySkeffington’s statue. The group also visited the site where Hanna was born in 1877, right in the heart of Kanturk. Prior to eaving the building, our classes researched Hanna’s contribution to women’s rights in Ireland.

Munster Badminton Champions

Scoil Mhuire had four teams who represented Cork at the Munster badminton championships including under 19 girls and boys, under 16 girls and under 14 boys. The under 19 girls finished runners up, so close....
