Volunteer Week
National Volunteering Week will run from 20th to 26th May. This year’s theme - ‘Uniquely Us!’ - is all about celebrating the diversity of volunteers who make Ireland what it is. Regardless of age, race, abilities, or status, every volunteer plays a unique role in our communities.
Volunteering can be a great opportunity for a person to develop their skills and build up their experience to add to their C.V. Volunteers are involved in all aspects of society; local communities, youth and education, the arts, childcare facilities, local charities and many more. There are some great opportunities available. Remember that volunteering not only benefits the community but also provides personal fulfillment and a chance to connect with others who share your interests!
