Duhallow Farming for Blue Dot Catchments EIP Booklet of Measures Launch

Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Charlie McConalogue launched the Duhallow Farming for Blue Dot Catchments EIP project’s Booklet of Measures at Charleville Park Hotel. Members of IRD Duhallow’s board, IRD Duhallow CEO Maura Walsh and EIP Project Scientist Mike O Connor attended the launch and met with the minister to discuss the EIP project and other IRD Duhallow projects.
The Duhallow Farming for Blue Dot Catchments EIP project is a 5-year EIP project with funding of €1.47m. The main goal pf the project is to work alongside the farming community of the Allow River catchment to protect and restore high-status waters using an innovative results-based scheme. The booklet of measures aims to make the project’s measures accessible to farmers and others working in agriculture.
