IRD Duhallow’s “A Day of the Regions” is a communityfocused umbrella project funded through the LEADER Programme, designed to support local communities and visitors in bringing people together through events, celebrations, cultural activities and local initiatives across the IRD Duhallow region. First introduced in 2012, the initiative aims to make it easier and more affordable for communities to organise inclusive
events that strengthen community spirit, celebrate local identity and encourage participation at a local level, providing a fantastic opportunity for people to discover and participate in local activities. Making it an inclusive celebration for all ages. The programme is open to support events across the region for the rest of the year.
