The neon sign of a classic movie theater flickers, casting a dim glow on the rain-soaked streets below. People in fedoras and trench coats hurry past, seeking shelter from the downpour. Inside the theater lobby, a hard knock detective, dressed in a sharp suit and hat, glances at his pocket watch. The young detective whispers to himself, “Running late, as always.” He adjusts his tie, straightens his hat, and rushes through the double doors into the theater. The sound of a melodramatic piano score fills the air as the young detective enters the nearly empty auditorium. He scans the rows of seats until he spots an empty one near the back. But as he makes his way towards it, a voice stops him in his tracks. A soft yet seductive voice says, “Looking for a seat, handsome?” The young detective turns to find a stunning damsel, draped in a fur coat, leaning against a pillar near the entrance. Her red lips curve into a mischievous smile as she holds a playbill between her fingers. The young detective replies with a smirk, “I thought I'd found all the mysteries tonight, but it seems there's one I've missed.”
The damsel replies, teasingly, “Maybe I'm the mystery you were meant to solve…”
