About the program Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) is an undergraduate degree course in computer applications. It is a three year course that outfits the understudies with vital aptitudes and innovative skill of the present patterns in Information Technology industry. With the fast development of IT industry in India, the demand of computer professional is increasing day by day. The development of IT industry has made a great deal of chances for the computer graduates. Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) is one of the preferred course among the students who need to make their career in the IT (Information Technology) field. The duration of the course is 3 years and partitioned into 6 semesters. It contains the subjects like database, organizing, information structure, center programming dialects like 'C' and 'java'. This course gives a great deal of chances to the students who want to work in the IT field as developer or programming designer At the end of the three year course, the students are quickly absorbed by top brands in the industry like TCS, HCL, Wipro. Pass in English (core or elective or functional) and Mathematics or Computer Science / Information Practice or Computer Application / Multimedia and Web Technology / Data Management application and Web Application as compulsory subject of non-vocational stream. OR Three year Diploma in a branch of Engineering from a polytechnic duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Admissions through CET The admissions are done strictly on merit through a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Therefore, a student can attend the counseling for further admission process only when he/she satisfies the above mentioned criteria and also qualifies the CET of GGSIPU.

The Institute also conducts admission for 10% seats under management quota which is done on the basis of merit of qualifying examination and CET-GGSIPU Rank. A candidate should have a minimum 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed English (core/elective/functional) and and Mathematics or Computer Science / Information Practice or Computer Application / Multimedia and Web Technology / Data Management application and Web Application as a subject and obtained a CET-GGSIPU rank.

Special Features COURSE HIGHLIGHTS AFFILIATION The BBA program is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. It is the First University established in 1998 by Government of NCT of Delhi under GGSIPU Act 1998. GGSIPU is recognized by UGC (University Grant Commission), India under section 12B of UGC Act. It is a NAAC ‘A’ Grade University.

TEACHING PEDAGOGY The institute provides a harmonious mix of classroom learning and practical approach. Subject Offered Curriculum The BCA program is separated into six semesters. Every semester involves five hypothesis subjects and three useful subjects.

Scholarships and Fee Structure (By Centre & State Government) As prescribed by GGSIP University

Scholarships based on class 12th score

90% and above in eligiblity subjects 100% of semester fee

80%-89% in eligiblity subjects 50% of semester fee.

75%-79% in eligiblity subjects 25% of semester fee

70%-74% in eligiblity subjects 15% of semester fee * This scholastic scholarship is granted only inthe first year NOTERelaxation of 5% to girl students on the above mentioned percentage.

Sports Scholarship

Zonal Zonal Level Player : 5% of fee each year

State State Level Player : 10% of fee each year

National National Level Player : 15% of fee each year

Defence Scholarship Children of defence personnel's are ofered scholarship to the extent of 10% of fee each semester. The student has to produce card of his parent at the time of admission as a proof of service. The scholarship is also offered to wards of Ex-servicemen.

Bank Loan Students can avail study loan from any of the nationalized banks.
