About Me

I am an architecture student at Piloo Mody College of Architecture, Cuttack, originally from the vibrant city of Kolkata. With a deep appreciation for storytelling through design, I believe architecture is not just about structures, but about shaping spaces that connect with people on an emotional level.

As an empathetic individual and a good listener, I strive to understand the needs and narratives of those I design for. My strengths lie in sketching and model-making skills that help me visualize and communicate ideas effectively. I am constantly exploring how thoughtful design can create meaningful, human-centered environments that leave a lasting impact.

Antarāl is a minimalist sanctuary in the heart of Kolkata, crafted for the quiet brilliance of an artist’s life. Defined by clean lines, neutral tones, and an intentional absence of clutter, this two-level home becomes a canvas in itself, where light, shadow, and space compose a living artwork.

With expansive windows, private balconies , and natural textures softened by greenery, Antarāl invites contemplation, solitude, and inspiration. It’s a place where architecture meets artistry—where every pause holds presence, every line speaks purpose, and every corner offers calm.

(Vrkshani)

Located in the evolving urban landscape of Bhubaneswar, Vṛkshaṇi meaning “She Who Belongs to Trees” is a pioneering office space dedicated to fostering innovation and governance in the realm of land, environment, and rural development. Rooted in minimalistic architecture and guided by environmental consciousness, the project embodies a new era of climate-resilient infrastructure.

The design adopts a restrained material palette exposed concrete, recycled timber, and local stone harmonizing with the surrounding landscape while reducing embodied carbon. Passive cooling strategies such as cross-ventilation, deep overhangs, vertical fins, and a rooftop solar array ensure year-round energy efficiency. A rainwater harvesting system and onsite bioswale irrigation underscore its ecological responsibility. Beyond form and function, Vṛkshaṇi is a place of purpose a collaborative, future-ready space for planners, researchers, and policymakers. It represents a balance between the earth that sustains us and the innovation needed to protect it—a sanctuary where design, ecology, and progress grow together.
