The IPSF African Pharmaceutical Symposium (AfPS) is the key regional event of the African Regional Office (AfRO) as part of the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF). The IPSF AfPS is a 5 to 8 days international event held annually for pharmacy students and recent graduates, especially in the African region. The programme includes, but is not limited to, an official opening ceremony, the IPSF-AfRO Regional Meeting, symposia on topics of the pharmaceutical interest and of scientific and educational nature, meetings and workshops, a pre-AfPS training programme and many social events. All organizations that have been IPSF members for at least one year in the African region can bid to host the event.
The bid for hosting the IPSF AfPS 2021 will be made during the 10th IPSF African Regional Office Regional Assembly in July 2021. The bid should include a presentation with information such as a provisional budget, expected maximum number of participants, possible AfPS venues and tentative dates.
