President’s Corner Audrey Clarissa It’s been a few weeks since the memorable and fun 52nd IPSF Congress in Cairns, Australia, the newly elected IPSF executive has started the year 2006-07 full of enthusiasm. I am happy that there has been progress since the congress in July. At the moment, IPSF has formally received a Roster Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council, ECOSOC, of the United Nations. Many thanks to the past executive for their work to submit this application. Last August, several past and current IPSF executive members represented IPSF at the 66th Congress of the International Pharmaceutical Federation, FIP, in Salvador Bahia, Brazil. IPSF had official programmes with FIP sections, and we are looking forward for stronger cooperation between IPSF and FIP sections for next official programmes in FIP Congress next year in Beijing, China. IPSF was also represented at the 175th UNESCO Executive Board meeting in Paris and IPSF is looking forward to further collaboration with this renowned organisation.

The unforgettable 5th APPS went smoothly and was very successful. Soon after that, I am now looking forward to remain active and give more contribution to IPSF as the IPSF President 2006-07. I have just graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree recently, at the age of 21, and will take one year off before
