Intro duction “Nothing is lost, everything is transformed is

thermodynamic saying which will be applied in our case as well. At a basic level, this is what Application Form Reallocation Project (AFRP) means.

Transforming unused AFs by some associations into used AFs for other ones who need them. Sounds simple, and it really is, this is the way we can avoid wasting the AFs. This project was approved by General Assembly at the 55th World Congress 2009 Bali, Indonesia, and since then, it helps us to be more efficient every year regarding the AFs and also to spread Student Exchange Programme and spirit of IPSF all over the world.

MATERIALS • Application Forms • Collaboration between SEOs around the world, Chairperson of Student Exchange Programme and Student Exchange Committee

METHOD In the first round each country receives 1.5 times as many Application Forms as the number of

After 20th of March any spare or unused AFs will be returned to the Chairperson of Student Exchange on a voluntary basis. SEOs can request for more AFs or to host more students as part of this project. Spare or unused AFs will be re-allocated by members of the Student Exchange

If you have used all your AFs, you can request for more.

You will receive a doodle document which you have to fill out if you want more AFs or to host more Exchange Students. You will have to do this until 20th of March.

This whole project is voluntary. No association is forced to participate.

SEOs are encouraged to retain a few AFs for late registrants. It is advisable not to retain more than 1-2 AFs.

RESULTS After the Student Exchange Committee meeting (April 2012), all unused AFs will be redistributed to countries that apply for AF RP according to the criteria outlined in the IPSF Domestic Rules:

Category 1. These countries can get 100% of the total number of AFs given on 1st round. For example, a country receives 2 AFs in the first round and in the second round, they can receive 2 more AFs. In total, 4 AFs were allocated to this country for this SEP year.

Category 2. These countries can get 50% of the total number of AFs given on 1st round. For example, a country receives 10 AFs in the first round and in the second round, they can receive 5 more AFs. In total, the country would have received 15 AFs for this SEP year.

Category 3. These countries can get 50% of the total number of AFs given on 1st round, but not more than 15. For example, a country receives 30 AFs in the first round and in the second round; they can receive 15 more AFs. In total, 45 AFs would have been given for this SEP year. But for a country with 50 AFs received in the first round, in the second round they can only receive 15 more AFs. In total, the country receives 65 AFs for this SEP year.

You will receive the results after the SEC meeting, including a list of countries where you can apply with these AFs.
