At just 17, he transitioned from folk to Latin ballroom—a shift that required not just physical retraining but a leap of imagination. With discipline and vision, Mishiko quickly distinguished himself, becoming a finalist at the Georgian National Championships and earning accolades at numerous international competitions. His rise through the ranks is a testament to his resilience and to the power of embracing transformation.


In 2021, Mishiko brought his talents to the United States, where his fusion of cultural heritage and ballroom innovation struck a powerful chord.Togetherwithhisdance partner Alena Khoroshevtseva, he represented the United States at the World Championships in Leipzig, Germany (2022), and Chisinau, Moldova (2023), under the USA Dance Federation. In September 2024, the duo captured national attention when they were named U.S. Professional Rising Star Vice Champions—missing the top spot by a single mark, yet makinganunforgettableimpact onthedanceworld.

Asacoach,Mishikoisaforce of transformative leadership. His students don’t just win— they grow. In 2023 and 2024, his Pro-Am students claimed U.S. National Champion titles in fiercely competitive divisions. His junior and youth dancers are consistently ranked among the best in the country, reflecting his philosophy that “great dancing begins with great teaching—and great beliefinoneanother.”
