OPPORTUNITIES:
• Biweekly encounters with Ecology and tribal partners on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00pm
VISION:
• Sacred Salmon Leadership Training to lead community action in your parish or community
Sacred Salmon cohort leaders will engage in authentic encounters with Indigenous partners and foster communityled action in their parishes and communities for tribal-led ecology campaigns.
TIMELINE:
Leadership development training offered by IPJC from April 16th through the end of June.
COMMUNITY ACTIONS IN THIS JUBILEE YEAR OF PILGRIMAGE:
• Participants will lead their own community in organizing a pilgrimage to a sacred salmon site.
• They will mobilize their community to support environmental justice campaigns led by Se’Si’Le, Khimstonik, Nimíipuu Protecting the Environment, Save Our wild Salmon, and IPJC.
• Live out Laudato Si’ and Laudato Deum by walking in hope with your community
