ZOOM on events PAINT EXPO EURASIA WITH BRILLIANT PREMIÈRE Paint Expo Eurasia: una première brillante berboihingen/Istanbul – “Our participation at the trade fair was a success, and we hope that PaintExpo Eurasia will take place regularly in the future” – this was the conclusion arrived at by nearly all of the 98 exhibitors at the first international trade fair for industrial coating technology in Istanbul. 2784 expert visitors gathered information about the exhibitors’ solutions during the 3-day trade fair, and demonstrated enthusiasm for the representative offerings covering the entire process sequence for liquid painting and powder coating. The first PaintExpo Eurasia presented a brilliant premiere in Istanbul from the 6th through the 8th of October, 2011: With 98 exhibitors from various disciplines in the field of industrial painting technology, event promoters FairFair GmbH and Artkim Fuarcilik succeeded in organising an exhibition which covered the entire spectrum of liquid painting and powder coating. The comprehensive offerings attracted 2784 visitors from 35 countries to the Turkish metropolis, 16% of whom came from outside of Turkey. The visitors’ technical know how and their concrete tasks fostered intensive technical discussion and interesting contacts. “Roughly 90% of the people who visited our booth were experts from the field of industrial coating technology who came to the trade fair with specific requirements. The other 10% were gathering general information. Participation at PaintExpo Eurasia was a complete success for us”, reports Ahmet Marangoz, managing director of Ilke Makina located in Izmir. And thus there’s no question for Marangoz that his company will be represented by a larger booth at the upcoming event in 2013. “We’re already waiting for the hall floor plan for the next trade fair, so that we’ll be able to secure an appropriate booth location for a larger presentation as early as possible”, he adds. La prima edizione di PaintExpo Eurasia ha avuto una première brillante a Istanbul dal 6 all’8 ottobre 2011: con 98 espositori da vari segmenti del settore delle tecnologie di verniciatura industriale, i promotori dell’evento - FairFair GmbH e Artkim Fuarcilik – hanno avuto successo nell’organizzare un’esposizione che ha coperto l’intero spettro delle tecnologie di verniciatura a liquido e a polveri. La manifestazione ha attirato nella metropoli turca 2784 visitatori da 35 paesi, il 16% dei quali proveniente dall’estero. Il knowhow tecnico dei visitatori e i loro ruoli hanno alimentato discussioni tecniche intense e contatti interessanti. “Approssimativamente il 90% delle persone che hanno visitato il nostro stand erano esperti nel settore delle tecnologie di verniciatura industriale che sono venuti alla fiera con precise richieste tecniche. Il restante 10% stava raccogliendo informazioni generiche. La partecipazione a PaintExpo Eurasia è stata per noi un successo totale”, afferma Ahmet Marangoz, direttore generale di Ilke Makina, situata a Izmir. Quindi Marangoz non ha dubbi sul fatto che la sua azienda parteciperà con uno stand più grande alla prossima edizione del 2013. “Stiamo già aspettando la piantina del padiglione per la prossima fiera, così saremo in grado di assicurarci il prima possibile la posizione adeguata per uno stand più grande”, ha aggiunto.
