All are welcome at IPC. Our congregation is called to take the good news of the Gospel out into the community.

IPC ministers to those seeking a church home and seeks to make disciples.

Three Sunday worship services on Sunday and Sunday school allow us to reach our local community. Our 11 am worship service livestreams each week for those who want to join us virtually.

The IPC choir provides music leadership in worship each Sunday and presents regular concerts and special services both locally and internationally.

Our historic and beautiful campus provides the community a place to worship, learn, and gather.

The buildings serve as a place to connect with others as well as a place for rest.

Church staff leads and directs IPC’s mission and ministries, maintains facilities and technology, engages and connects the congregation, and keeps our campus safe.

Adult Ministries support faith formation through weekday and Sunday classes at IPC, special programs and lectures, as well as IPC Connect and Grace Groups.

Family Ministries create ties to support and nurture the education, service, and fellowship of children, youth, and families.

Through Youth Ministries, 7-12th graders regularly gather in classes and small groups with fellowship opportunities to build community with each other and grow their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Children’s Ministries create a loving and nurturing environment for the children of IPC to learn and grow in faith and become active participants alongside their families in the church community.

Congregational Care Ministries share in joy and concerns of the congregation. Prayer, comfort, and support are provided to those in need through counseling, meals, home visits, home communion, checking in, and calling ministries.

Music and Fine Arts Ministries play a significant role in the life of the church. The IPC Camerata presents Evensongs on select Sundays, and the annual Religious Arts Festival and November Organ Recital Series bring world-class artists to Birmingham.

Community Ministries guide IPC members to carry out Christ's ministry in Birmingham and the world. Service opportunities include working with children, serving meals, and providing food and hygiene items. Through social services and direct assistance, vulnerable people receive compassionate help.

Food Ministries provide support for people struggling with food insecurity. Through Weekend Buddy Bags, children at Hayes K-8 receive simple meals. Blessing Boxes provide food and hygiene items for our neighbors.

Mission Journeys provide transformative pathways to places within the United States and around the world for IPC teams to participate in the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ.

Local children are nurtured, loved, and have the opportunity to participate in the Summer Learning Program and LIFT OFF for hands-on learning activities in the areas of social-emotional learning and literacy.

The Children's Fresh Air Farm promotes hope and opportunity through partnerships with children, families, and the community by offering quality programming rooted in the love of Christ.
