Thank you to Dina & Fred Leeds for hosting this evening of Solidarity and Music in their Garden Amphitheatre in Bel Air on October 26th. It was an inspirational and successful gathering. THANK YOU ALL, a special THANK YOU to our generous hosts, major supporters Lana and Jeff Melman, and Laura Cohen of JNF-USA – all funds now at Jewish National Fund-USA, designated for the Sefer Torah for the 3500 Israeli residents in the Halutza region who live on the Southern Gaza border and who have suffered brutal massacres - like Nir Oz where out of 400 residents only 140 survived, Be’eri, Shlomit – all relocated now but determined to rebuild their lives. The needs are unending. Of the $100K goal, as of today, we have raised $35,376.19. Your generosity counts. iPalpiti artists Samuel Nebyu, violinist/Hungary-Ethiopia; Jacopo Giacopuzzi, pianist/Italy; Victor de Almeida, violist/Australia-Brazil-USA; Timur Bekbosunov, tenor/Kazakhstan presented an extraordinary program of Jewish music/composers. Dedicated to the promotion of peace and understanding through music and often referred to as “Musical Peace Corps,” iPalpiti has created a network of international artists, forging lifetime associations that transcend the conflicts of our time. Over 400 extraordinary young musicians in 53 countries have been supported, presenting annual festivals in LA, and touring internationally, including Israel. The iPalpiti orchestra is scheduled to perform concerts in Eilat on February 4-10, 2024. Jewish National Fund-USA: we were there yesterday, we are there today, and we will be there tomorrow. JNF has worked in close partnership for decades with Halutza and is uniquely prepared to assist in meeting the emergency needs created by the current crisis and the real, long-term needs of tomorrow.

More than ever, our mission resonates with the current world.
