Attention Juniors!

Summer Meeting - We will hold our summer meeting at the State show on July 31st at the Delaward Co. Farigrounds.

Why did you decide to attend NICC?

I wanted to attend NICC for their vet tech program and after a semester I realized I only wanted to work with large animals. Which is when I switched over to the Dairy Science program.

What has been your most memorable college experience?

My most memorable experience I have had during college is going to national PAS with my teammates and fellow classmates after finishing first at state. Dave couldn't drive down with us because of the annual meeting was the same day so the whole car ride down the four of us talked about our farms and cattle experience.

What has been your favorite course?

Applied Animal Health taught by Doc Harvey was my favorite class so far at NICC. During that class we got hands on experience on treating and diagnosing all large animals and it helped me gain valuable knowledge that I use everyday.

What are your future career goals?

My future career goals are to take over my family dairy and continue working part time at Kregels as calf manager.
