Failure Policy for Service Community service is a graduation requirement at Iona Preparatory School. Students who receive an F in Service have not fulfilled their annual service requirement and must complete all outstanding service hours by August 14 prior to the start of the next academic year. Students who do not satisfy this requirement by August 14 will be ineligible to participate in fall extracurricular activities beginning August 15 until the service obligation has been fulfilled and approved by the Campus Ministry Department. Upon completion of the required service hours, students must notify the appropriate Campus Ministry coordinator, with Ms. Alice Smyth copied on the correspondence, so that the service can be reviewed and recorded. Freshman Midterm and Final Examination Policy The Freshman Midterm and Final Examination Policy is designed to promote academic growth while maintaining fairness, consistency, and transparency in the evaluation process.
Freshman Midterm Exam Grading The minimum grade that may be recorded for a freshman midterm examination is 55%. No student will receive a midterm examination grade below 55%. The purpose of this grading floor is to: ●
