Log in to your Parent Portal account. From the homepage, select the E-Locker tab. Click E-Portfolio. Select the academic document you wish to view or download.
Parents/guardians are expected to monitor their son's academic progress by reviewing PlusPortals regularly, with weekly review strongly encouraged. Questions regarding PlusPortals accounts or access should be directed to the Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Blanco.
Course Syllabi Each course at Iona Preparatory School is guided by a course syllabus, which is available to students and parents/guardians through PlusPortals at the beginning of the academic year. The course syllabus serves as the instructional roadmap for the class and outlines the course objectives, curriculum, grading policies, assessment practices, classroom expectations, and any course-specific procedures established by the teacher. Students and parents/guardians are expected to review each syllabus carefully and refer to it throughout the school year. While all courses adhere to the academic policies outlined in this Student-Parent Handbook, individual course syllabi provide the specific expectations and instructional practices unique to each classroom.
Late Work Policy Meeting deadlines is an essential component of academic success and helps students develop the responsibility, organization, and time management skills expected in college and beyond. Students are expected to submit all assignments by the established due date. Teachers may assess penalties for work submitted after the deadline in accordance with the late work policy outlined in their course syllabus. Depending on the nature of the assignment and the instructional goals of the course, a teacher's policy may include reduced credit or the refusal to accept work submitted after the due date. Because timely submission is critical to meaningful feedback and the continuity of classroom instruction, students are encouraged to communicate proactively with their teacher when unforeseen circumstances 13
