A Chartered Accountant and Director of Orb360 since 2015, Jay has over decades of accounting, forensic accounting and tax experience.

He is currently chairman of Animal Breeding Services (NZ) Ltd, Inframax Construction Ltd, and Binsar Farms Pvt Ltd (India). He is Director Quantec Ltd and Dairy Farms NZ Ltd. He is a Charted Fellow of the Institute of Directors, and a Fellow of the NZ Institute of Primary Industry Management. He is the current chair of the India New Zealand Business Council.

Earl Rattray’s has a longstanding career in the New Zealand dairy sector. After graduation he began his working carer as an Agricultural Economist before returning to his dairy farming roots, first as a sharemilker, and eventually to multiple farm ownership. On the way through he held several senior dairy sector leadership roles. He was a founding board member of Fonterra Co operative Group and was the founding Chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Companies Association.

In 2019, Jay was selected as one of the 40 young aspiring tax policy leaders in NZ and was invited to discuss and debate global tax policy issues with the Deputy Director of the International Monetary Fund’s fiscal affairs department. Jay specialises in international and domestic tax, with a particular interest in tax due diligence, IRD disputes and international tax. Having a wide range of experience and a broad understanding of international tax regimes allows him to provide a wide range of technical tax advice, and Jay also regularly presents and writes tax articles.

Michael Fox is Head of Global Public Affairs at Zespri International. He leads Zespri’s external communications, stakeholder engagement, policy, global tours and events and community investment programmes.

Prince Kumar Director, Edex Academy

Prince received the “Pride of India”, “Rastriya Ekta”, and the Bharatiya Udyog Ratan” Awards for his contributions to the business community in India. In Auckland, Prince worked as the General Manager of Contact Centre 1, a telemarketing company. He also worked as Team Manager for the telecommunication company Telstra Clear.

He joined Zespri after a career in Parliament as a Press Secretary and Chief Press Secretary to former Prime Ministers Sir John Key and Sir Bill English and Opposition Leader Simon Bridges. Prior to that he was a journalist with Fairfax Media in Auckland and Wellington, in Parliament’s Press Gallery and in Egypt and Cambodia.

Prince has been a board member of India New Zealand Business Council in the past. He has been involved extensively in promoting New Zealand Education to various countries in Asia and predominantly in India. In 2012, he was part of the trade delegation to India led by Hon Prime Minister John Key. In recent years, Prince is also involved in import of biodegradable material for NZ market.

Jonathan is a sales and marketing professional from India. He has worked for several iconic brands for 15 years before embarking on his life’s passion into aviation. He trained towards his Commercial Pilot Licence in New Zealand.

Post completion of his CPL he worked for the largest flight training organization in NZ and went on to work for the national airline Air New Zealand. Along with his friend, Jonathan started the New Zealand Airline Academy (NZAAL) which is the most modern, state of art Pilot Training school in New Zealand.

NZAAL is the only cadet pilot training provider for Air Asia India. NZAAL is the process of setting up a Pilot Training school in India and are in negotiations with various State governments. Jonathan is currently serving on the board of INZBC and was recently named as a board ready director by the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and Superdiversity Institute for Law, Policy & Business.

Prince Kumar gained his Masters in Industrial Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India and his Management degree from Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Chennai, India. Prince served as manufacturing head for Eureka Forbes, a subsidiary of TATAs and the CEO of textile companies in South India.

CricHQ and My Action Sport (MAS) are successful and innovative New Zealand business involved in Sports, Media and Technology. CricHQ offers digital scoring platform (including analytics tool) for various national governing bodies and caters to over 100+ cricket associations globally. Some of the customers of CricHQ include Pakistan Cricket Board, Cricket Association of Nepal, Hyderabad Cricket Association, Goa Cricket Association, Mercantile Cricket Association and various district level cricket associations in this Myregion.Action

Garry is a marketing communications professional with experience in media production, marketing and events.

With a career spanning over two decades, ranging from media marketing, media production, broadcasting and communications, Garry has been the Secretary of INZBC since 2013. He manages all operations, marketing and events for INZBC.

He started a boutique marketing agency, Media Solutions Kiwi Ltd., in 2015 to support SMEs in promoting their business and brands via digital marketing, events, etc.

Sport (MAS) is specialized into live streaming of sports and assists in skill development around sports. This is widely used as a tool to upload sporting action into social media channels like FB / YouTube.

Sreedhar Venkatram is Director & CEO South Asia for CricHQ and he is also part of the INZBC executive council as Chapter Head Mumbai. He is also part of AIMA Young Leaders Council as he assists young entrepreneurs to scale their businesses. He was earlier with New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (NZTE) for around a decade assisting NZ businesses to scale their presence in South Asia and had worked for FedEx and Export Promotion Councils as part of his career. He holds Masters in International Business and quite passionate about cricket.

The purpose of this visit to India is to network with India / New Zealand Business Council members in general and to also look for potential partners in Renewable Generation in the Electricity Distribution. Sirma joined the Meat Industry Association (MIA) as Trade and Economic Manager in March 2015 following a career in the public sector during which she developed a deep knowledge of trade policy and significant trade negotiations experience. She was appointed as CEO in April 2020.

Prior to joining MIA Sirma was with the Ministry of Primary Industries’ (MPI) trade policy team, where she was involved in progressing the primary sector interests in the negotiations of goods market access and sanitary and phytosanitary provisions in New Zealand’s free trade agreements. Sirma has also worked with the Ministry of Economic Development (now MBIE) in negotiating and implementing New Zealand’s technical barriers to trade

Manish is currently a consultant in the Food & Beverage space with a rich experience of 26 years across different product categories. Manish was born and brought up in UP and has travelled across the globe. A graduate in Agriculture from Pantnagar University and Masters in Food Tech from CFTRI Mysore, he earned a gold medal in both the programs. He later completed his executive MBA from IIM Bangalore.

Over the last 26 years he has worked across different categories like Dairy, Malted food drinks, Snack food, Staples, Juices, Edible Oils, Functional foods and Pet Food, with multinational companies. He started his career with GSK, in the R&D function. He then moved to ConAgra when they were looking at entering into India, where he helped them extend the portfolio of products into Snacks & functional foods. Manish then switched to Mars India, where he helped establish the pet food category from scratch. He managed the Innovation, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions over the decade with them. He then moved to Fonterra and shifted to Sri Lanka for 4 years, playing a critical role in expanding the business for the 10 markets in the region.

His last role, till recently, was as Executive Director & CEO for Fonterra Future Dairy, a Fonterra JV based out of India, establishing the Dreamery brand in the Dairy category and expanding the manufacturing & market footprint. He is embarking on entrepreneurial opportunities, possibly with a New Zealand association.
