The Arkansas Urology 25th Anniversary
On Saturday, June 4th, a packed house came together of friends and supporters from across Arkansas and around the country to celebrate Arkansas Urology Foundation's Silver Ball raising over $600,000. AU Foundation’s Board Chair, Ellon Cockrill, presented Dr. Mack Moore with an award celebrating the Dr. Mack Moore Annual Health Fund which will help address health disparities across the state of Arkansas. Established in 1996, Arkansas Urology was founded at a time when urological concerns were discussed largely behind closed doors, if at all, and has steadily led the charge to bring such medical problems as prostate cancer, sexual health and other urological conditions out of the shadows. A big thanks to all of the sponsors, volunteers, and physicians who made The Silver Ball such an overwhelming success.

We are more than optimistic about our one of a kind new Group Home Renovation in its third phase of construction. Proceeds from the gala will benefit this much anticipated facility. WSB will serve as a residential care and assisted living facility for adults who are blind with a diagnosed developmental disability as well as the elder blind. You can help World Services for the Blind finish this home.

we innovative Jeff Hankins, Vice President of Strategic Communications at Arkansas State University System, had suffered from sometimes excruciatingly painful kidney stones for years until he underwent a new, life-changing procedure at UAMS. Dr. Julie Riley, a national leader in the treatment and prevention of kidney stones, performed a minimally invasive procedure to remove about 15 kidney stones and provide almost instant relief. Hankins urges anyone dealing with painful kidney stones to consider this procedure.
