GIACOMO CHIORINO Head Market Analysis and Sustainability Specialist Banca Patrimoni Sella & C. Has worked for over 10 years as a Prop and agency Trader at Bnp and Merrill Lynch between Paris and London. Back to Italy in 2002 he became Fund Manager and Head of Investments at Nuovi Investimenti Sim - Alpi Fondi SGR. From 2013 he works for Banca Patrimoni Sella, the largest family owned private bank in Italy. He is Head of Market Analysis and since 2021 he also focuses on sustainability issues. He is a member of the bank investment committee and he also seats on the board of Obsidian Capital SGR, the fast growing alternative investment manager based in Turin where he heads the sustainability committee. He is a graduate of Bocconi University with a major in finance and exchange programs at McGill and HEC. In 1999 he graduated from Insead MBA. His passions are travelling and mountainbiking. Mr Chiorino is married and has 2 daughters.

PROF. RAFFAELE PIRONE Prof. Raffaele Pirone received a PhD in Chemical Engineering in 1996 and is Full Professor of Industrial and Technological Chemistry at the Polytechnic of Turin (since 01/27/2011). He had previously held the position of Senior Researcher at the Research Institute on Combustion of the CNR (1/08/1996 - 26/01/2011). He teaches in three different degree programs at the Polytechnic of Turin: Industrial Chemistry, Sustainability in the chemical industry and Sustainable use of biomass for energy purposes. From 10/1/2012 to 9/30/2021 he coordinated the College of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the Polytechnic of Turin. Currently (since May 2021) he is the Rector’s contact person for the implementation of the «Transitions Engineering» training project. Owner of a series of research projects financed by competitive tender or awarded from public and private institutions. The main research interests concerns the development of abatement processes of atmospheric pollutants, the development of sustainable processes for the valorisation of biomass and industrial, domestic and agricultural wastes and the synthesis of synthetic fuels from hydrogen and carbon dioxide, so to achieve a whole scientific production of 120 articles in international journals cited approximately 3800 times in the literature, and a Hirsh h-index equal to 37 (2023).

The most advanced technological processes aim to enhance human capital and the diversity of human ideas and relationships. With over 20years of experience in international sales, he is specialized in International Business Development and cross border transactions. Gianluca has worked on several challenging projects in different industries and in different country and has learned how important relationship, trust, reputation and reliability are. Main areas of experience are Power Generation, Oil &Gas, Automotive, Process Automation but not only, Retail and Investment has been part of his experience with the results of building a very multidisciplinary knowledge to support the strategy of growth of his company and his clients. The 3rd edition of BUSINESS TALKS POP UP @ Saudi Arabia was hosted at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel at Al Khobar on 8th November 2023. It was the 13th event since BUSINESS TALKS project launched in 2021. Business Talks Pop Up @ Saudi Arabia has been another strategic Business event focused on three main topics: Economic Outlook and Trends, Energy Transition landscape and Global Trends in Alternative Investments. The event was hosted by Investor Media Monaco and powered by the main partners GO-ON Group, leaders in international B2B sales, and sponsored by ILF Consulting Engineers, Sherbiny Holding and Italvalv.
