Take The Reins

Note From Inventiv

Take The Reins

We take pride informing ourselves. Our success stems from our time spent in the field with our customers. We routinely engage in ride-alongs with delivery drivers, sales reps, and sit-ins with warehouse personnel, for as long as it takes to fully understand your business processes. Our platform can fit the needs of all our customers, but it is far from being cookie-cutter. We recognize the important distinctions in state legislation and personal preferences of the wine and spirits industry, our specialty for 20 years. The Inventiv team values providing you with opportunity and peace of mind. Our team sits down and collaborates with your higher management and IT team, for as long as it takes. We tailor our existing features (2,500+) to meet your demands and do not shy away from building individual solutions for you. And to be frank, we actually enjoy that process. We empower you with every option in order to save you time and expenses, but we do not pressure you to always choose efficiency over your personal preference. We have spent an immense amount of time and effort to make our apps as intuitive as possible. And if you have trouble telling our design apart from Apple, we assure you that is intentional. We have explored every combination of software layout and hardware selection in order to optimize your experience. We hold customer accessibility to the highest priority. We believe that we are only as good as our last customer service experience. We plant customer support contacts in all of our apps for quick emailing to document issues, and we will always pick up the phone as well. We regularly check-in with customers, as we believe our job is not finished after product training and implementation. In fact, it is never finished, because we provide you with an ongoing service. We sincerely want to know how and to what degree your experience has been improved, and where any secondary tweaks can be applied. So please don’t hold back. Looking forward to hearing from you (again) soon.

User Problem

Inventiv Solution

For the usual Will Call delivery, a rep must pick up paperwork from the warehouse, along with a written signature.

Using our in-app electronic signature capture, Will Call information is sent and archived digitally, avoiding trips to the warehouse and/or bank entirely.

With a window of only 24-48 hours to stamp and mail paperwork, managament staff and reps lose time best spent elsewhere.

All DropOff business can be conducted in the palm of your hand, so reps stay in the field.

Order Approvals

Streamline Your Samples 1 Setup sample reason codes Assign supplier Charge Back % and record exceptions. Charge Back % is available to managers when approving sample orders. You can also restrict items by bottle size, category, inventory level and/or customer, which prevents a rep from sending orders that will automatically be denied.

2 Reps place an order Reps submit the request digitally through PA and must include a reason code and a list of tasters. The order is then logged into a reporting database for analysis.

3 Manager approval From an iPhone or iPad, managers can review and, if necessary, change the Charge Back % using PA+. The manager will have visibility to each order.

4 Track and analyze results AdvantageEIS tracks sample usage over time, and managers can filter data by rep, customer, and supplier to review ROI.

Tasting Accountability

Data-Driven Decisions

We found that using PA+ for sample requests samples drop by roughly 10% as reps make better selections with transparency.

Producer Over the past 20 years, Nicolás and Laura Catena and their vineyard management team have worked tirelessly in the discovery, identification and development of key microclimates in the high altitude wine country of Mendoza, Argentina. Nicolás Catena has planted an almost countless number of varietals and clones throughout his mountain vineyard sites. This quest for quality lead Nicolás and Laura Catena to a crucial discovery regarding the influence of altitude on grape cultivation in Mendoza. Observing the important differences in soil types, average temperatures and thermal amplitudes that exist at varying altitudes, he found that vineyard sites which are just a few kilometers apart can have vast differences in altitude and possess remarkably different microclimates. Over the years, the in depth study of these different microclimates led Nicolás to determine that the same varietal, and even the same clone, presented distinct aromatic and flavor profiles when cultivated in each of these unique microclimates. Implementing the age old art of assemblage, he found that by blending these different lots of the same varietal, he could achieve a more complex wine. Review Wine Spectator 90 points - An intense red, showing concentrated flavors of dark plum, kirsch, dried beef and baker's chocolate flanked by notes of tobacco leaf and ginger. The powerful finish is filled with sanguine details. Drink now through 2020. 100,000 cases imported. From Argentina.K.M. .October/2014 Description The Catena family has conducted extensive research into the soils and microclimates of Mendoza's high altitude wine country in the foothills of the Andes mountains. At different altitudes, the family’s Malbec vineyards express a unique profile of aromas and flavors: the ripe plum fruit flavors and silky texture of the Angelica vineyard (2,850’ elevation); the dark fruit character and pepper notes of the La Pirámide vineyard (3,100’ elevation); the black cherry aromas and excellent structure of the Altamira vineyard (3,870’ elevation); the explosive floral aromatics full, concentrated mouthfeel of the Adrianna vineyard (5,000’). The blend of these components creates a wine of unique character that has balance, concentration and a strong varietal identity.
