Celebrating 20 Years
THE ROUTEMAPS CHALLENGE
THE VALUE OF A CLEAN INVOICE
A Note From Dave
Staying Hungry
After 20 years in the wine and spirits industry, a few things have not changed: our commitment to improving our software, to focusing on the influence of user experience with our products, and to increasing accessibility and transparency for every customer. Until this day, we still happily engage in personal ridealongs in the field, because every voice matters and has a place in our development. And believe me, no one is more pleased to share that our pursuit of a truly universal platform is stronger than ever. To us, that means automating every business process possible and allowing our customers to manage payments, delivery and warehouse operations, sales rep territories, and more without a hiccup. Since 1998, we keep our company slogan in mind every day: every click or tap you save adds a second to your life.
Our newest addition to the Inventiv apps family is RouteMaps. We’re excited to provide the web-based technology for distributors to revise and reshape their territories, with coinciding commission and total sales in a fraction of the time. Combined with our improved PocketDelivery app, Inventiv is able to assist you with all business processes in the field in real time. With the recent introduction of my second son, Remy, into the family business, we look forward to the decades to come as Inventiv becomes bigger, faster, and most of all, more thoughtful.

Small in staff but massive in vision, we gain the advantage of assuring that each of our employees are well versed in all customer-specific company processes. We promote this versatility and convenience because, on a daily basis, we are only as successful as our last support call. In order to maintain progress day in and day out, one must love their work, listen, and be resourceful. We would like to sincerely thank all our customers for suggesting new ideas and working with us to manifest them into new features. Our team continues to grow as we provide the best, partnering with leaders in their respective fields, such as Beverage Media and Great Vines. Our 2000+ feautures make us the most feature-rich platform in the industry. We not only aim to solve problems but also to create an intuitive user interface. From demonstrating PocketAdvantage with the first handheld and stylus back in 1998, to airplay-projecting our apps from an iPad, we appreciate just how empowering conducting business on the go can be. But new age technology has not separated us from our old school roots - we answer the phone! And we promise you, no one loves these conversations more than us at Inventiv. With your help, we will continue to reach our goals, together.

No More Loose Ends
1
User Problem
1)1 No more tracking credits issued and sent by mail, electronic invoices steer clear of this accounting nightmare.
2
No more handwritten notes
when the driver alters invoice totals, reducing human error and overtime.
A driver visits a new account in a strip mall to deliver a 10-case deal. After searching the parking lot for the storefront entrance, the driver arrives to find that the customer only wants one case instead, forcing the driver to scribble on the paper invoice and leave the warehouse in the dark until the end of the day.
3 No more scanning paper receipts after a delivery, instead a PDF copy of the signed receipt is automatically sent back to the server, saved with customer ID, invoice number, and date. Receipts are easily accessible for searching, emailing, and printing at a later date.
4
No more lag time checking in
with Standup Check-in: the driver hands an iPhone to manager to sign for products and inspect returns, and, next, for cash or checks received. And, just like that, the driver route is complete, and all data is sent and archived in our backend system for processing.
Inventiv Solution With PD, a driver arrives using turn-by-turn directions and uploaded photos of the account’s parking lot and/or entrance(s). The driver enters edited information into his/her iPhone as the app performs all math (including split case charge, delivery fees, and taxes) instore. Meanwhile, the warehouse has advanced visiblity on a stop-by-stop basis and receive a clean invoice, signed and sent electronically.
iPhone 6/7/8 Plus & Zebra Printers 1) Plus-sized is best for drivers: large screens & text, pocket-sized 2) Zebra printers link via Bluetooth

User Problem
Inventiv Solution
For the usual Will Call delivery, a rep must pick up paperwork from the warehouse, along with a written signature. With a window of only 24-48 hours to stamp and mail paperwork, managament staff and reps lose time best spent elsewhere.
Using our in-app electronic signature capture, Will Call information is sent and archived digitally, avoiding trips to the warehouse and/ or bank entirely. All DropOff business can be conducted in the palm of your hand, so reps stay in the field.
Order Approvals
Streamline Your Samples 1 Setup sample reason codes Assign supplier Charge Back % and record exceptions. Charge Back % is available to managers when approving sample orders. You can also restrict items by bottle size, category, inventory level and/or customer, which prevents a rep from sending orders that will automatically be denied.
2 Reps place an order Reps submit the request digitally through PA and must include a reason code and a list of tasters. The order is then logged into a reporting database for analysis.
3 Manager approval From an iPhone or iPad, managers can review and, if necessary, change the Charge Back % using PA+. The manager will have visibility to each order.
4 Track and analyze results AdvantageEIS tracks sample usage over time, and managers can filter data by rep, customer, and supplier to review ROI.
Tasting Accountability
Data-Driven Decisions
Using PA+ we found samples drop by roughly 10% as reps make better selections withtransparency.

Producer Over the past 20 years, Nicolás and Laura Catena and their vineyard management team have worked tirelessly in the discovery, identification and development of key microclimates in the high altitude wine country of Mendoza, Argentina. Nicolás Catena has planted an almost countless number of varietals and clones throughout his mountain vineyard sites. This quest for quality lead Nicolás and Laura Catena to a crucial discovery regarding the influence of altitude on grape cultivation in Mendoza. Observing the important differences in soil types, average temperatures and thermal amplitudes that exist at varying altitudes, he found that vineyard sites which are just a few kilometers apart can have vast differences in altitude and possess remarkably different microclimates. Over the years, the in depth study of these different microclimates led Nicolás to determine that the same varietal, and even the same clone, presented distinct aromatic and flavor profiles when cultivated in each of these unique microclimates. Implementing the age old art of assemblage, he found that by blending these different lots of the same varietal, he could achieve a more complex wine. Review Wine Spectator 90 points - An intense red, showing concentrated flavors of dark plum, kirsch, dried beef and baker's chocolate flanked by notes of tobacco leaf and ginger. The powerful finish is filled with sanguine details. Drink now through 2020. 100,000 cases imported. From Argentina.K.M. .October/2014 Description The Catena family has conducted extensive research into the soils and microclimates of Mendoza's high altitude wine country in the foothills of the Andes mountains. At different altitudes, the family’s Malbec vineyards express a unique profile of aromas and flavors: the ripe plum fruit flavors and silky texture of the Angelica vineyard (2,850’ elevation); the dark fruit character and pepper notes of the La Pirámide vineyard (3,100’ elevation); the black cherry aromas and excellent structure of the Altamira vineyard (3,870’ elevation); the explosive floral aromatics full, concentrated mouthfeel of the Adrianna vineyard (5,000’). The blend of these components creates a wine of unique character that has balance, concentration and a strong varietal identity.
