Silent Auction closes at 8 p.m

Dear Intuit friends,

When in-person museum visits were impossible for much of last year, I was enthusiastic to extend a loan of my collection at Intuit. The extension helped to accommodate hundreds of people who couldn’t see the exhibition Outsider Art: The Collection of Victor F. Keen during the months when Intuit was closed due to COVID. As a result, museum guests expressed feeling connection, acceptance and enjoyment transcending those at many other art museums. I’m honored to chair the 2022 Visionary Ball, and to toast with you, Intuit friends, my longtime art mentor and loyal friend Frank Maresca, this year’s Visionary Awardee.

Silent Auction Item: Mr. Imagination. Untitled (pendant II), n.d. Paint on clay, 14 ¼ x 2 in. (including rope of the necklace), pendant dims: 1 x 2 x 1 in. Donated by an anonymous donor

By registering to tonight’s event, you’ve already demonstrated your belief in the power of Intuit’s work to change lives. Please take your commitment to Intuit and Frank a step further by making an outright donation or bidding on the auction.

Through your support, thousands of Chicago Public School students, teachers around the country and audiences around the world benefit from profound outsider and self-taught art experiences.

With sincere thanks,

Victor F. Keen
