Light

Left - Alexia Stevens, 19, has a very cool room and hung up bright blue lights.

Upper Right - The OPEN sign in my brother’s room is neat but he rarely turns it on so I had to sneak in to turn it on and take a quick picture.

Lower Right- I was originally taking a picture of the key but with some cropping it turned into an even better picture of string lights.

Portraits

Upper Left- Alexia Stevens’ cat held by her younger sister.

Lower Left- I surprised Alexia as she was walking up the stairs.

Upper right- Originally I was going to try a silhouette but I decided against it. I’m glad, it turned out pretty nicely.

Framing Left- My home, the garbage can, framing my shoe.

Upper Right- I needed an excuse to take an insane number of pictures of my friend’s cat and this was just one of them.

Lower Right- This truck pulled up right as I was leaving and I almost missed it but it’s one of my favorite pictures I took.

Lines

Left- I wouldn’t be in Iowa if I didn’t include a picture of corn.

Upper Right- I had to twist myself around in the car to snap this picture of the sun through the lines on the rear window.

Lower Right- Lines lead the eye to the creepiest door I’ve ever been in. My friend’s cousin stepped in as I was taking the shot and I thought she made it even better and more eerie.

Perspective

Left- Bird’s eye view of the heater. It looks old and burnt and definitely something I wanted to catch from above.

Upper Right- “WEST SIDE NEWSROOM” stickers look neat and shiny from the bottom.

Lower Right- Trees are awesome for worms-eye photos.

My hand was shaking as I took this photo of cars passing by but they look like little light worms so its’ all good.

I don’t know why I took this picture but it turned out very good for aperture.

Why was there a nude heel in the bin why would you leave it there

The whole photo is blurry except for the dust on the lense and my artsy self loves that even though it’s not a good picture whoops.

Free Form For my free form I took a bunch of pictures of and inside an old barn that probably hasn’t been accessed since 1980. These were my favorites.
