I am Bri (like the cheese), aka CardiBri, BB, and Dr. Bri during the day. I moved to Cleveland about a month ago to start psychiatry residency at the Clinic. Thanks to many of you, I already feel warmly welcomed and delighted to call INTRO and Cleveland home

I grew up in Buffalo, NY (go Bills!) and spent the last four years in Michigan for medical school. In between, I have lived in Rochester, NY, and Vigo, Spain. Now I'm here in the Mykonos of the Midwest (aka Cleveland) for at least the next four years

Some things about me:

1) I'm ADFC (always down for chaos) You want to go out on a Tuesday night and see where the night goes? I'm down. You want to hike the Grand Canyon and sleep in the wild? I'm down I think everyone needs a friend who is ADFC I am that friend

2) Probably obvious from my career choice, but I am super passionate about mental health In addition to my daily work in psychiatry, I volunteer as a crisis counselor for Crisis Text Line. Life is hard. We are all on this journey together trying to figure it out Social support is a strong protective factor, and I want all of my dear INTRO neighbors to know they can include me in their network of social support. Please reach out anytime (@CardiBri MD)

3) As far as hobbies: I really love flying to new places and exploring the world So far, I have been to 5/7 continents Some of my favorite places are Spain, Korea, and Costa Rica I recently went to India for my friend's wedding and am heading to Spain in September for the third time for another wedding! Not sure why, but I seem to always make the cut for wedding guest lists even if the wedding is in Japan, 6,000 miles away I suspect this is directly related to my ability to get grandma on the dance floor, but I can't be sure.

4) Hobbies cont.: Boxing, attending group fitness classes on ClassPass, anything spa-related, dancing (salsa, clubbing, poolside vibing to bangers from DJ Taj Mahal), drinking (beer > cocktails > wine) & eating, supporting local business via drinking and eating.

If we haven't met already, I look forward to meeting you! Please feel free to say hi or message me through IG or the INTRO app. Remember, everybody's a stranger until they aren't. (:

Warmly, Your neighbor Bri
