As we go to print on this issue, we've just witnessed the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and the changing of the guard that is the monarchy. Receiving an email this week berating us for false reporting on some 'Royal diaries' that had apparently been found in someone's drawers (yes – they clearly had the wrong magazine and received a lecture from this editor about fact-checking!) made me realise how passionately polarised people are about the royal family.
This month we see royalty of a different (and highly talented) kind visiting our fair shores and gracing the stage in the Hunter Valley. Andrea Bocelli is set to is set to uplift Australian audiences with a stunning selection of soul-stirring arias, enduring love songs and beloved crossover hits in his only concert outside of the major city venues.
