It seems incomprehensible that 2019 is drawing to a close and we will soon be entering a new decade. Twenty-Twenty is a phrase often used to describe perfect vision and so seemed the ideal topic for our final issue of 2019 and the first issue of the new decade – Looking forward to 2020.

The Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery has been a cultural fixture in the Lake Mac community since its establishment in 1980. But as its fortieth anniversary nears, the venue is moving into its next phase with a new look, new exhibitions and a new name – MAC: Museum of Art and Culture yapang.
The team at intouch are also looking forward to 2020 and getting to know some of our favourite people, places and events. As the only locally owned and produced magazine in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, it's our pleasure to share all the great things about living in the Hunter to our community and we look forward to doing so in 2020!
