Kellie considers herself a forever student - of life and art. When she was in college she took every art class available and loved the combination of structure and freedom provided through each experience. Kellie internalized this polarity and shared the same structure and freedom with others while traveling with a paint company teaching thousands of people how to create with a professional grade acrylic.

"It really taught me to slow down, embrace and celebrate every different style and technique. It helps me to this day when I'm painting in my studio. Observing and tweaking all the little motions and movements. All these things are a part of my story and a part of the way I create".
