From The Editor’s Desk

Navigating Modern Times The modern world is evolving at an unprecedented pace, driven by technology, innovation, and shifting lifestyles. From healthcare advancements and cosmetology to the growing importance of medicinal plants in skincare and wellness, humanity today enjoys opportunities and conveniences that were unimaginable a century ago. The contrast between yesterday’s simpler way of life and today’s multifaceted existence is striking. Charlie Chaplin’s 1936 classic

Modern Times depicted a man struggling to keep pace with an

industrialised society. Nearly a century later, the theme remains remarkably relevant. We now navigate a world shaped by digital technologies, artificial intelligence, changing workspaces, investment decisions, wellness trends, and evolving social habits. Life today extends beyond the confines of home and office. Cafés, malls, co-working spaces, and community hubs have become important centres of interaction, business, and leisure. Even a casual coffee break often reflects broader conversations about lifestyle, productivity, and human connection. In this dynamic environment, understanding emerging trends is essential. From sustainable lighting solutions and AI-powered capsule endoscopy to herbal beauty remedies and new consumer experiences, modern living resembles a complex mosaic that requires informed choices. This issue of International Business Magazine aims to simplify these

complexities by offering valuable insights and practical information to help readers navigate the realities of contemporary life with confidence.

How Skincare Improves Your Confidence and Personality

Representational Image

Skincare is more than a surface-level practice; it is a structured discipline that directly influences how individuals feel about themselves and how they present their personality to the world. Skincare is often perceived as a routine of cleansing, moisturising, and protecting the skin, but its impact extends far beyond physical appearance. It plays a profound role in shaping self-confidence and nurturing personality development. Psychologically it helps enhance the feel-good factor. When individuals invest time and effort into caring for their skin, they are not merely enhancing their looks; they are cultivating self-respect, discipline, and a positive outlook that radiates into every aspect of life.

06

Skincare

According to Researcher Maryam Amraei, in her Thesis for Bachelor of Beauty and Cosmetics, Novia (UAS) “The relationship between skincare and selfconfidence is relevant, because skincare can increase a person’s sense of self-worth and quality of life. When people feel good in their own skin, they are more likely to show more confidence in their everyday connections.” So, healthy skin is closely tagged to self-esteem. Clear, glowing skin often reduces feelings of selfconsciousness and allows individuals to present themselves with assurance in social and professional settings. People who struggle with skin concerns such as acne, pigmentation, or dryness may experience

Traits in Skincare

Moreover, skincare routines instil discipline and mindfulness. The act of dedicating time daily to cleanse, hydrate, and protect the skin becomes a ritual of self-love that craves for more Likes! This discipline often extends into other areas of life, encouraging healthier habits such as balanced nutrition, adequate hydration, and stress management. In this way, skincare becomes a gateway to holistic wellness, shaping a personality that values consistency, patience, and responsibility. These traits are admired in both personal and professional spheres, making individuals more reliable and appealing.

Cleansing routine: Washing away impurities twice a day is not just about hygiene; it reflects consistency and responsibility. Personality impact: This habit builds discipline, showing that the individual values order and structure. Moisturising routine: Hydrating the skin daily is an act of self-care that symbolises love toward oneself. Personality impact: It fosters emotional well-being, making individuals more empathetic and balanced in their interactions. Sunscreen application: Protecting the skin from harmful UV rays demonstrates care and responsibility. Personality impact: This habit reflects long-term planning; a trait admired in leadership and decisionmaking roles. Relaxing routines: Taking time for soothing rituals like aromatherapy or gentle massages reduces stress. Personality impact: This enhances confidence, as a calm mind naturally projects assurance and positivity in social settings.

“

Skincare also enhances one’s social presence. With the recent social media boom, looking good with glowing skin is rapidly gaining currency. When people feel good about their appearance, they are more likely to engage confidently in conversations, presentations, and interactions. This confidence translates into stronger communication skills and a more approachable demeanour. A person who radiates self-assurance through healthy skin often leaves a lasting impression, as his personality appears vibrant and well-rounded. In essence, skincare helps bridge the gap between inner self-worth and outward expression, allowing individuals to project authenticity and charisma. Another important aspect is that skincare nurtures emotional well-being. The Art of applying creams, masks, or serums can be therapeutic, offering moments of relaxation amidst daily stress. This selfcare ritual reinforces the importance of wellbeing. A calm and composed mind naturally reflects in personality. Thus, skincare is not just about external beauty but about cultivating inner peace that shines through in interactions with others. A word of caution. Overemphasis on portrayal of “Cosmetic Beauty” can drift and make a person stubborn and create a classconscious society.

But, from a broader perspective, skincare symbolises respect for oneself. When individuals take pride in their appearance, they signal to the world that they value their identity. This love often inspires others, creating a ripple effect of positivity. A well-groomed personality, supported by healthy skin, conveys professionalism, attentiveness, and confidence.

Healthy skin is closely tagged to self-esteem. Clear, glowing skin often reduces feelings of self-consciousness and allows individuals to present themselves with assurance in social and professional settings.

“

insecurity, but consistent skincare helps alleviate these issues, leading to visible improvements. This transformation fosters a sense of accomplishment and pride, reinforcing the belief that one has control over their well-being. Confidence born from such progress is not superficial; it is skin deep rooted in the realisation that self-care yields tangible results.

The Big Picture When these routines are practiced consistently, they do more than improve skin health. Skincare becomes a bridge between physical well-being and psychological strength, allowing one’s personality to flourish in both private and public spheres. At the end of the day, more than skin deep, skincare bonds well with this often quoted saying “being in love makes you more beautiful” or best described by a Turkish idiom “Aşk insanı güzelleştirir” meaning “love makes a person beautiful”.

Every modern industry is evolving through technology like AI and Machine Learning. The skincare sector is no exception, transforming rapidly as consumers prioritise holistic health and personal well-being. Driven by the adage – Change is Constant – the global skincare industry has also embraced the path of transformation aligning with the global consumers’ awareness about health and personal well-being. Since the past decade, the wellness industry has been forced to abandon temporary solutions and adopt long-term solutions and sustainable practices. Skincare brands are giving prime importance on the basics – such as – the connection between mental health, skincare and personalised skincare products in order to make health routines more effective. The skincare industry is categorised into two types; the first type: global brands catering to the rich and elite in developed countries. The second type: skincare companies that are mostly found in developing countries where products are tailored to meet the specific needs and health care requirements of local audiences. These companies manufacture products as per the traditional practices combined with state-of-the-art technology tools. They also use digital marketing campaigns to establish their presence and compete with global brands.

How The Regional Skincare Brands Win Consumer Trust In developing economies and emerging markets of Asia (Bangladesh, India, South Africa and Nigeria), local skincare companies have emerged to address gaps to provide customised skin care solutions that are missing in global brand products. Rising disposable incomes, rapid social media exposure to teenagers and millennials, information in smart phones regarding increasing awareness of skincare, mental health and personal appearance have encouraged the customers in developing countries to bet on local skincare companies’ products. Most often, a single product was advertised as the preferred solution for customers though they may have different health concerns, skin types and climate conditions. In recent times, customers have the advantage of searching online for products that address their individual needs rather than forced to buy a product like “one-fits-all-types-of-healthproblems.” The need for specific product for a specific skin issue inspired companies, particularly Bio-Xin Cosmeceuticals to think of a strategic shift. This approach enabled local companies to make a difference by not only competing with low price

products, but by manufacturing products that seem to connect with their country audience. By collaborating with research organisations, using cutting-edge technologies and scientific research, the local companies succeeded in creating customised formulations.

Navigating Challenges, Creating Milestones: The Bio-Xin Story Being a first-time entrepreneur in his family, the CEO of Bio-Xin Cosmeceuticals, Muhammad Zahidul Hoque faced his share of challenges, including initial concerns about financial security, stability, and the risks associated with starting a business. He transformed his idea/vision and mission into a company, building it from the ground up. In the market, his products encountered initial hesitation from the customers towards personalised skin care solutions due to lack of education. He also faced challenges in manufacturing quality products (as per his vision) because of lack of trained professionals and right equipment.

The Bio-Xin Cosmeceuticals method is simple. Through their training and educational programs, customers are given valuable information to know about their body, skin and engage in better health practices with professional guidance. The main goal is to make the customers understand that the treatment as well as products usage will give a long-term solution instead of a temporary result. This approach of setting realistic expectations has helped the company build excellent partnership with their customers. Bio-Xin Cosmeceuticals has succeeded in bridging the gap between customers’ skincare needs and scientific innovation along with traditional practices. At Bio-Xin, skincare professionals, by deploying cutting-edge technologies design solutions before recommending treatments based on factors such as skin type, lifestyle and environmental exposure (climaterelated challenges). Even during this difficult phase, Bio-Xin never shirked from its objectives. This commitment made the company a trusted brand name today. To strengthen the brand name, it set two objectives. First Objective Design formulations as per medical research/ diagnostic technologies with the help of

scientists/skincare professionals that can give personalised skin solutions for different types of health concerns Second Objective Assist customers to have complete control of their skin health via personalised treatments (consultation with physicians). By pursuing these objectives head-on, Bio-Xin earned the trust and loyalty of 80% of the population in Bangladesh. Bio-Xin Cosmeceuticals also invested in advanced research facilities that supported not only experimentation but also focused on creating products as per the international standards. This approach helped it to stay ahead of competitors and at the same time, give personalised science-based skincare solutions. The team worked hard to source high-quality ingredients for the products with unwavering commitment to create quality products. Clinical Diagnostics

The Role of AI-Driven Capsule Endoscopy

Representational Image

Artificial Intelligence-powered capsule endoscopy is significantly advancing gastroenterology by replacing traditional, invasive endoscopic procedures with a painless, swallowable micro-camera engineered to automatically detect gastrointestinal diseases. By integrating miniature imaging hardware with sophisticated deep-learning models, this technology facilitates non-invasive scanning of the digestive tract with expert-level diagnostic accuracy while drastically accelerating image interpretation timelines. The methodology allows for comprehensive evaluation of the small bowel, stomach, and colon without the patient discomfort or sedation risks associated with conventional techniques. Upon deployment, the advanced algorithmic software rapidly breaks down thousands of captured images to identify and flag lesions and anomalous pathologies with high precision. Furthermore, impending technological iterations are projected to introduce real-time diagnostic analysis and autonomous capsule navigation, allowing the device to actively manoeuvre through the gastrointestinal tract for optimisation of data collection.

20

Medical Technology

How AI Capsules Work • Ingestion: Patients swallow a small capsule equipped with a tiny, high-resolution camera. • Image Capture: The device takes thousands of pictures as it moves naturally through the digestive tract. • Real-Time Analysis: Advanced AI models, such as convolution neural networks (CNNs), scan the images instantly to spot abnormalities The impact • Early Detection: Software flags hidden signs of ulcers, bleeding, inflammation, and early-stage tumors with high precision. • Less Discomfort: Painless process, sedation, and anxiety linked to traditional wired tube endoscopies. • Time Savings: Doctors no longer spend hours manually reviewing thousands of frames of video footage, reducing fatigue and diagnostic errors. • Global Access: Portable and app-connected setups bring specialist-level diagnostic screening to remote areas.

Representational Image

Small-bowel lesion detection Deep-learning models, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) identify bleeding, ulcers, and tumors with accuracy comparable to expert gastroenterologists. Colon and stomach evaluation: AI-assisted capsules extend beyond the small intestine, improving detection of early neoplasia in the stomach and colon. AI-assisted capsules have expanded their reach outside the small intestine to evaluate the stomach and colon, enabling the early detection of abnormal tissue growth (neoplasia) to help prevent advanced cancers and ensure better patient outcomes. Data Overload and AI Limits While artificial intelligence creates tens of thousands of data images per test, human doctors must collaborate and double-check every result to catch false readings or overlooked issues instead of blindly trusting computer choices. In essence, physicians need to double-check artificial intelligence results instead of trusting computer choices blindly. Key Advancements in Medical Diagnostics • Rapid Stomach and Bowel Exams: Swallowed camera capsules have the ability to complete full gastric exams in as little as 8 minutes without

•

•

tubes or sedation, guided externally by magnetic robots. Automated Image Analysis: Sophisticated artificial intelligence systems discard repetitive video footage and pinpoint signs like sores, growths, and early cancers. Multimodal Sensing: Future versions of the capsule will include built-in sensors to track pH levels, temperature, gut bacteria, and signs of inflammation as they happen.

Targeted Drug Delivery and Therapeutics • Smart Release Mechanisms: Advanced smart pills will control medication release speed, dispensing treatments like insulin or anti-nausea drugs when they detect specific body signals or inflammation. • Personalized Interventions: Real-time information from the gut will let these medical devices instantly adjust treatments to match the body’s exact current state. Global Market Size of AI Capsule* The global AI capsule endoscopy reading platform market is estimated at USD 71.9 million in 2025 and is projected to reach USD 306.81 million by 2036, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 14.1%.

Prof. Khalid Fakhro, Chief Research Officer at Sidra Medicine, said: “This agreement expands access to an important innovative and specialized service for expectant parents in Qatar. By making clinical-grade cord blood and tissue banking services available to families receiving maternity care at The Pearl International Hospital, we are providing them with the information and support they need to make informed decisions about preserving these valuable biological resources. Cord blood contains stem cells which are used in the treatment of a range of blood, immune, and genetic disorders with ongoing research to explore their potential in regenerative medicine for diseases like cerebral palsy, autism and type 1 diabetes. Registered families of the service can access the stem cells for the future treatment of certain diseases and conditions for their child as well as for extended family members. Cord Blood Banking Services at Sidra Medicine The GMP facility at Sidra Medicine is the only facility in Qatar with a Cord Blood Bank, offering families the unparalleled advantage of keeping the samples in the country. This ensures their optimal quality and immediate access when needed most. The GMP facility also prepares Bone Marrow stem cells for transplantation and advanced Cell and Gene Therapy products for the treatment of pediatric patients at the hospital. Sidra Medicine can facilitate the transfer of the stem cells to authorized centers in other countries. These advantages matter for families seeking a trusted, locally managed way to preserve a once-in-a-lifetime biological resource.

MediLearning Partners with TrueProfile.io for GCC CPD Representational Image

DataFlow Services FZ LLC, operator of the TrueProfile.io credential verification and professional development platform, and MediLearning International, an Irish based and Dubai-registered digital CPD/CME education provider, announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), establishing a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) course distribution partnership. Under the agreement, MediLearning will supply a minimum of 70 Dubai Health Authority (DHA)accredited CPD/CME courses for doctors, dentists, nurses, and pharmacists, to be listed and promoted on the TrueProfile.io marketplace to verified healthcare professionals (HCPs) across the GCC, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. The partnership responds to a straightforward need in the region: healthcare professionals must complete CPD/CME credits to keep their licenses current, but most regulators currently allow only around 30% of those credits to be completed online, and no single established platform covers the full range of accredited courses HCPs need. By embedding accredited CPD directly into the credential verification journey HCPs already use on TrueProfile. io, DataFlow and MediLearning are making it easier for professionals to keep their licenses current and their skills sharp.

“This partnership reflects DataFlow’s strategy to move beyond verification and become the platform HCPs rely on for their entire compliance lifecycle, not just the point-in-time check. Solving the CPD access gap is a clear example of that: it’s a real need for the region’s workforce, and closing it strengthens the value TrueProfile delivers to both HCPs and the healthcare employers who depend on a compliant, licensed workforce,” said Amit Gupta, Chief Strategy Officer, DataFlow. “This is a landmark moment for CPD in the region,” said Graham Cooke, Founder and CEO, MediLearning. “Through our MOU with DataFlow, HCPs on TrueProfile.io can now complete DHA-accredited CPD courses through MediLearning as a core part of their licensing process. This partnership closes the gap between learning and licensing and gives hospitals sharper visibility into workforce compliance. We’re delighted to partner with DataFlow to support the healthcare industry and make ongoing education accessible to all HCPs in the region.” DataFlow and MediLearning share a vision of a GCC healthcare workforce where staying licensed and staying skilled are one seamless journey. Building on this MOU, the two organizations plan to grow the marketplace to more than 170 accredited courses within the next six months, with a formal services agreement to follow.

From Roots to Radiance: How Herbal Remedies Are Shaping Modern Beauty Representational Image

The changing face of skincare in developing countries embodies resilience, cultural pride, and global relevance, positioning herbal remedies as the foundation of modern beauty.

42

Skincare

For centuries, people relied on botanicals like turmeric, neem, aloe vera, saffron, and sandalwood to cleanse, heal, and rejuvenate. Beyond mere cosmetics, these therapeutic treatments effectively addressed acne, pigmentation, wounds, and aging. This reliance on botanicals is deep rooted in the cultures of Asian region. Botanicals abundance, accessibility, and safety made them indispensable, especially in rural populations. Now, even in Urban populace, these herbs are gaining ground rapidly. Today, these practices evolved into formal structured systems such as Ayurveda in India, Unani in the Middle East, and ethnobotanical traditions across Africa, embedding herbal skincare into the social and spiritual fabric of societies. The modern era introduced cosmeceuticals, a hybrid of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, which revolutionised skincare by offering products that not only beautify but also heal. This change has transformed the way skincare is adopted in developing countries. Unlike conventional cosmetics that provide temporary enhancement, cosmeceuticals deliver measurable physiological benefits. This shift was driven by scientific validation of herbal compounds, such as polyphenols in green tea, curcumin in turmeric, and aloin in aloe vera. These bioactive molecules demonstrated anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and regenerative properties, making them powerful tools against photoaging (the premature aging of the skin caused by long-term exposure to ultraviolet light), acne, and pigmentation. Nanotechnology further enhanced their efficacy, improving absorption and targeted delivery, and transforming traditional remedies into advanced formulations that could compete in global markets. Key herbal ingredients continue to dominate modern formulations. In most developing countries, turmeric, with its antiinflammatory and brightening effects, remains central to anti-acne and anti-aging creams. Aloe vera, known for hydration and wound healing, is widely used in gels and moisturisers. Neem’s antibacterial properties make it a staple in acne treatments, while green tea catechins combat oxidative stress and aging. Saffron, prized for radiance and pigmentation control, has

moved from traditional masks to luxury serums. These herbs, once applied in raw forms, are now refined into extracts, used into creams, serums, sunscreens, and masks. Despite progress, challenges persist in developing countries. Standardisation of herbal extracts is inconsistent, leading to variability in product quality. Regulatory frameworks are often weak. Bioavailability remains a hurdle, as many herbal compounds are poorly absorbed by the skin.

“

Botanicals have always been indispensable to rural populations, prized for their abundance, accessibility, and natural safety. These ancient herbs are gaining ground across urban communities, transforming modern wellness.

“

Today, herbal remedies serve as the foundation of beauty traditions in developing countries, proving the old adage that “beauty is skin deep.” While English poet Sir Thomas Overbury coined the phrase in his 1613 poem A Wife to argue that physical traits are superficial compared to inner character, these traditional cultures view the concept through a different lens. Driven by cultural heritage and an abundance of natural resources, their ancestral skincare protocols seamlessly blend inner wellness with outer aesthetics.

Also, developing countries face a number of issues such as unscientific harvesting of medicinal plants, poor post-harvest handling, and soil or pesticide contamination. These factors lower the safety and quality of plant ingredients. Added to this is the lack of scientific testing, clinical trials, and toxicological evaluation makes it hard to prove benefits of the herbal cosmetics.

Additionally, synthetic cosmetics, backed by aggressive marketing and global branding, often overshadow herbal alternatives, especially among younger consumers seeking instant results. Yet, the growing global demand for natural, eco-friendly skincare presents immense opportunities. Sustainable sourcing of herbs ensures long-term viability and appeals to environmentally conscious buyers. Technological innovations like nanocarriers and encapsulation enhance delivery and efficacy of herbal actives. The future of skincare in developing countries lies in balancing heritage and science and is a about roots and radiance.

Sustainable Lighting: Innovations Shaping the Future Modern lighting solutions have transformed global illumination, reshaping the way we light our homes, workplaces, public and private facilities, automobiles, railways, and shipping networks. The future of lighting isn’t just about brightness; it’s about intelligent, sustainable, and human-centric design. Advanced lighting technologies—ranging from high-performance light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and sun-powered outdoor fixtures to smart, networklinked systems—are transforming how power is utilized and regulated. Eco-friendly illumination is becoming a crucial element across the global shift toward sustainable construction, intelligent urban environments, and reduced-carbon living.

“

Modern lighting solutions have transformed the future of lighting. It’s about intelligent, sustainable, and human-centric design.

“

Eco-friendly illumination LED lighting has revolutionized the industry by dramatically cutting electricity consumption and lasting much longer than traditional bulbs, which require frequent replacement and waste significant energy.

LED bulbs are energy efficient compared to incandescent lights. LED lights can be made in several shapes and combinations. Experts can design creative lighting systems that look great and work well.

44

Technology

Smart and Sustainable Lighting The integration of smart technology is one of the key advancements driving the future of sustainable lighting. Connected lighting systems use sensors, automation, and data analytics to automatically adjust illumination based on occupancy, daylight, time of day, or user preferences. They are adaptive in nature. For example, in an office environment, these systems can save energy by dimming when there is enough natural sunlight and switch off automatically when there is no one in the room. Furthermore, smart street lighting spontaneously adjusts brightness based on real-time vehicular movement and pedestrian activity. This system reduces energy consumption by dimming the lighting system when roads are empty, while still ensuring visibility and safety when people or vehicles are present. This smart lighting solution is a game changer. Operating on fixed schedules and dynamically adjusting based on its surroundings is the in thing. Sustainable lighting goes beyond using LEDs. It encompasses the entire ecosystem, including energy generation, smart controls, manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and disposal. Solar Energy, A Paradigm Shift Renewable energy lighting systems use solar panels to absorb and store energy during daylight hours, then use it to power illumination after dark. Using Solar is useful for outdoor areas like streets, parks, pathways, parking lots, and remote communities. Tapping and using solar energy is also cost-effective compared to traditional power. Renewable-powered lighting could become increasingly viable for many different environments as solar panels, battery systems, and energy-management technologies improve. Human-Centric Lighting and Physical Health The state-of-the-art lighting system focuses on environmental and human impact, rather than just lowering power consumption. The key goal is nurturing spaces where people can thrive in safety and comfort. Human-centric lighting alters the illuminated interior and colour to suit what people are doing and mimic the natural patterns of daylight. The option of various settings—including workplaces, hospitals, schools, and homes—can be improved by adopting lighting systems tailored to support comfort, focus, rest, and

overall eye health. This marks a vital shift in lighting design, seamlessly bonding sustainability and human experience rather than treating them as competing goals. Leveraging AI to track trends Artificial Intelligence has the ability to elevate intelligent illumination to the next level by leveraging data from connected hardware and sensors to autonomously track power consumption trends and fine-tune illumination settings. For major urban centres and large-scale structures, this technology facilitates proactive upkeep, automated power regulation, and highly adaptable infrastructure. Smart platforms detect abnormal performance trends, allowing operators to fix lighting issues proactively rather than waiting for system failures. Connecting light to the Internet of Things (IoT) enables smart lighting systems to gather practical data regarding their surroundings and daily functioning. Regenerative Illumination A lighting product’s environmental footprint extends far beyond its daily energy consumption. True sustainability requires assessing the entire lifecycle of a fixture—from the raw materials used in its production and its overall lifespan to how easily it can be repaired, recycled, and safely discarded. Consequently, future lighting options may focus on the circular economy. To support this goal, producers can invest in long-lasting parts, modular setups, eco-friendly materials, and engineering that simplifies repairs and part upgrades. These methods cut down on garbage and make items last longer while helping build a smarter, resource-saving economic system.

Multipurpose Networked Poles Urban centres offer the greatest potential for sustainable lighting innovation. Because public and street lighting require massive infrastructure networks, they are ideal candidates for modern upgrades. By expanding their capability beyond simple illumination, these networked poles can host telecommunications, gather environmental data, and streamline asset management. This evolution transforms traditional, single-use lighting infrastructure into a versatile, multi-purpose platform. The Journey Ahead Despite rapid innovation, obstacles remain in the widespread adoption of sustainable lighting. Implementing smart lighting demands full lifecycle planning, spanning from initial setup costs and security risks to system maintenance and eco-friendly disposal. The most effective options will therefore need to strike a balance between high-tech features and being affordable, reliable, accessible, and environmentally sustainable. Conclusion The future of lighting is growing brighter, driven by technological innovation rather than a simple increase in brightness. Advancements in smart, sustainable, and highly adaptable technologies are driving highly efficient improvements in modern illumination. By integrating into eco-friendly buildings, smart homes, solar roadways, and connected urban areas, sustainable illumination significantly lowers energy consumption while upgrading our day-to-day experiences.

5 Ways AI Search Is Changing How Investors Find Financial Information Representational Image

Investors have always needed reliable financial information, but the way they find it is changing quickly. Instead of opening several websites and reading through lengthy reports, many are turning to AI search for faster, more conversational answers. This shift also gives people a simpler way to view their services when exploring financial companies, platforms, and professional resources online. AI search can summarize complex topics, compare information, and help users discover relevant sources with less effort. As these tools become part of everyday research, they are changing what investors expect from financial information and how businesses present it. 1) Getting Faster Answers to Financial Questions Artificial intelligence enabled searching enables investors to find fast answers to financial questions without having to spend hours flipping through various internet sites and documents. AI technology can condense difficult information into more understandable explanations, so investors can easily grasp subjects like market trends, corporate results, or investment risks. Even so, the use of sources that have been referred to must be ensured when the information might change or affect a major financial decision that the investor has to make.

AI Search

2) Moving from Keywords to Natural Questions With AI-driven search, investors can simply ask what they mean just as they would to someone and are not constrained only on using very short and precise keywords. For example, a person may query on what the current factors that are influencing a company’s stock or even ask about the reason a particular market is going through and be given a reply that is relevant to that question only. It is a financial search method that makes one wonder it can actually get quite a personal experience, a thought mostly that it’s quite the opposite of that kind of searching that the person would have previously done for the words that she might not have even thought of as the right terms to search. 3) Comparing Information from Multiple Sources AI-based search can support investors in aggregating all company reports, financial news, market data, and any other reliable sources during the research process. This way, the users will have more time to find out and analyze the contrasting positions and to spot the things that may not come out when using just one source of information. But, investors should always look at the primary sources to verify key figures, claims, and context before making any decisions.

AI search is making financial research faster, more conversational, and easier to personalize, but investors still need to question and verify what they find.

4) Changing How Investors Discover Financial Content AI search is changing which financial websites, reports, and resources investors see first when looking for answers. Instead of simply ranking for specific keywords, financial businesses now need content that clearly addresses real questions and provides useful, trustworthy information. This encourages brands to focus more on helpful content that matches what investors actually want to know.

5) Making Personalized Research More Accessible AI research can transform how finance investigations are perceived, by enabling shareholders to inquire based on their unique preferences and objectives. Rather than grappling with generalized data, they can unearth subjects from varied perspectives and be informed in ways that correspond to their familiarity. While such methods offer an easy way to conduct inquiries, it needs to be highlighted that the results provided by AI should definitely not be considered as individual stock recommendations. The Growing Importance of Trust and Accuracy As AI becomes a bigger part of financial research, investors need to pay closer attention to where information comes from and whether it can be trusted. A fast answer is useful, but accuracy and context matter just as much when money is involved. Check the Original Sources AI tools can summarize financial information, but investors should still review the original reports, filings, and trusted publications. This helps confirm that important numbers and statements have not been taken out of context.

Look for Current Information Financial conditions can change quickly, so outdated information may lead to poor conclusions. Investors should check publication dates and make sure the information reflects the latest available developments. Consider the Source Behind the Answer Not every piece of information found through AI search carries the same level of credibility. Entrepreneurs investing in AI consulting for small business firms can also benefit from understanding how trustworthy data sources, clear content, and responsible AI use work together. Avoid Treating AI as the Final Authority Although AI search can make research easier, it only has a supporting role that is helping, rather than entirely taking over or dismissing investor’s judgment. Major choices in financial matters should be made upon verified information alone and, at the same time, seeking help when necessary from professional financial experts. Conclusion AI search is making financial research faster, more conversational, and easier to personalize, but investors still need to question and verify what they find. As these tools continue to shape how people discover information, financial businesses have an opportunity to make their content clearer, more useful, and easier to trust. For businesses looking to adapt their approach to AI, they can explore relevant solutions and view their services to see how they can support smarter digital strategies.

How Entrepreneurs Move from Home to Office Space

To begin with, many new entrepreneurs work from the only space they have available to them: their homes. Thanks to the modern internet, it’s possible to earn income online, without the need to invest in dedicated premises. But over time, the needs of your business may evolve to the point that your home working environment is no longer sufficient. You might need the benefits that come with dedicated facilities, or you might simply want to draw a stark line between your home life and your work life. A real office space might allow you to do exactly that. Representational Image

The way that your new office is designed can have a significant bearing on the quantity, and quality, of the results you’re able to achieve. Workers might benefit from clear lighting, plenty of outdoor space, and ergonomics.

Identify When Your Business Has Outgrown Home Working So, how can you tell when it’s time to make this switch? The answer might relate to the volume of work you’re doing, and the number of people you’re hiring. If your business involves the storage of materials and stock, then warehousing space might be a concern, too. For example, if you’re a woodworker who is building flight cases for musicians, then having access to a large pile of plywood might be essential. If that pile is larger than your garage can accommodate, or you’re struggling to deal with problems like moisture, then it’s time to move. Budget for the Full Cost of an Office Before you make the move, of course, you’ll need to be sure that you can afford it. When assessing the costs, you’ll want to think about every aspect of running the premises. Furniture, insurance, utilities, and general maintenance should all be factored in. The same goes for small replacement items, like ceiling tiles. If you neglect to account for a cost that later becomes apparent, then you risk making the move less than profitable. In some cases, you might even make it non-viable. For this reason, it’s worth giving yourself a reasonable cushion in your budget. That way, you can deal with problems as they emerge, without worrying that your plans are about to be derailed. Choose a Location That Supports Growth The place you choose to work from matters. It should be reachable by your current workers, and those you might seek to hire in the future. That tends to mean favoring areas with good transport links, access to local amenities, and room for expansion. Think not just about your needs immediately after the move, but also your needs in the years that follow. Design an Office That Enhances Productivity The way your new office is designed can have a significant bearing on the quantity, and quality, of the results you’re able to achieve. Workers might benefit from clear lighting, plenty of outdoor space, and ergonomics. Giving everyone a say in the way the space is designed can lead to greater confidence, and a feeling of emotional investment. Of course, in almost every instance, you’ll need a few potted plants to keep everyone’s mental energy levels high enough.

always-on economy, the demand for real-time movement of liquidity continues to grow. Participating in this initiative enables us to help shape the future of international payments and ensure our clients are well positioned to benefit from emerging innovations in the global financial ecosystem.”

“

Industry sources added that this initiative uses bank-issued tokenized deposits to explore faster, cross-border payment capabilities. By connecting tokenized deposits with Swift’s trusted financial messaging infrastructure, the initiative is designed to reduce friction in international payments and has the potential to improve speed, liquidity efficiency and the movement of funds across markets.

The collaboration forms part of Swift’s global initiative. The ledger was designed by more than 40 financial institutions, with 17 banks piloting it for tokenised deposit transactions since Swift announced it was ready for use in July 2026. The Minimum Viable Product (MVP) phase of the ledger is focused on demonstrating 24/7 real-time cross-border payments. Swift’s ledger provides a shared orchestration layer connecting bank-issued tokenized deposits between participating institutions. For businesses and financial institutions, the initiative has the potential to unlock new efficiencies in liquidity management and treasury operations. By extending payment availability beyond traditional banking hours, businesses could gain greater flexibility in managing working capital, optimizing liquidity across regions, and responding more quickly to commercial opportunities.

Vivek Batra, Head of Global transaction Banking at Mashreq, said: “At Mashreq, we believe the future of payments will be defined by greater speed, availability and interoperability, delivered through trusted financial infrastructure. This collaboration with Citi and Swift allows us to explore how nextgeneration payment capabilities can help clients move money more efficiently across markets and time zones while maintaining the security, resilience and governance standards that global finance depends on. As businesses increasingly operate in a digital,

The initiative reflects the growing interest across the banking industry in tokenized deposits and their potential role in enhancing financialmarket infrastructure.

“

Mashreq, a leading financial institution in the MENA region, has successfully completed a live transaction with Citi using Swift’s blockchain ledger infrastructure, marking an important step in the evolution of alwayson cross-border payments.

Rizwan Shaikh, Head of Services for Middle East and Africa at Citi, said: “Together with Mashreq and Swift, we are demonstrating that always-on, interoperable cross-border payments are already a reality. This milestone reflects Citi Services’ strategy to connect traditional payments infrastructure with nextgeneration digital asset networks, helping deliver 24/7 payment availability and more efficient liquidity mobility for clients.” The initiative reflects the growing interest across the banking industry in tokenized deposits and their potential role in enhancing financial-market infrastructure. Unlike public digital assets, tokenized deposits represent regulated bank liabilities and are designed to operate within existing banking, compliance and settlement frameworks. For Mashreq, the collaboration builds on its focus on digital assets and next-generation payments.

Why Outdoor Living Is Becoming a Priority for Abu Dhabi Homebuyers

What today’s buyers are actually looking for Private gardens and courtyards remain the most requested feature, particularly among families moving from apartments into villas or townhouses. Shaded terraces and pergolas follow closely, since they extend how many months a space can be used comfortably. Access to communal parks, cycling paths and walking trails also carries weight, especially for buyers who value an active routine close to home. Low-density layouts have become a quiet but powerful selling point. Homes with generous space between buildings feel calmer and more private, a quality that is hard to recreate once a plot is built up. Buyers increasingly treat these qualities as fixed

56

Real Estate

Waterfront communities are leading the trend This shift is most visible along Abu Dhabi’s coastline. Waterfront communities naturally offer open horizons, sea breezes, walkable promenades and a built-in reason to spend time outside. A stroll along the water or an evening watching the tide are experiences landlocked developments cannot match.

“

A lifestyle shift that built up over time Years of dense urban development left buyers craving open-air alternatives, and recent global events pushed households to rethink how their homes function. Remote work blurred the line between office and living space, and families began spending far more time within their own walls. That experience left a mark: homes needed room to breathe, safe play areas for children, and spaces to exercise or relax without leaving the property. Abu Dhabi’s climate rewards well-designed, shaded outdoor areas for much of the year, so this shift found fertile ground. Buyers now actively search for private gardens, rooftop terraces and access to parks or promenades. Agents report that outdoor space is often among the first questions raised in early viewings, sometimes before layout or finishing details come up at all.

requirements, pushing developers to bake outdoor considerations into early masterplanning rather than treating landscaping as a finishing touch.

Homes with wellmaintained gardens, functional terraces or waterfront access tend to attract stronger interest and shorter time on market.

“

Abu Dhabi’s residential market has shifted. Buyers once judged a home mainly by its interior finish; now they weigh how much of daily life can happen outdoors. Balconies, gardens, courtyards and shaded terraces have moved from pleasant extras to deciding factors. A home is no longer just shelter and status, but daily wellbeing and a stronger connection to the surrounding environment. Developers have responded by adding more green space, water features and outdoor amenities to match these expectations.

This has made the best waterfront communities in Abu Dhabi a recurring point of comparison for buyers weighing their options. These communities combine private outdoor amenities at the home level with shared waterfront space at the community level, giving residents flexibility over how and where they spend time outdoors.

Representational Image

Designing homes that blur the line between indoors and outdoors Large sliding and folding doors increasingly connect living rooms to gardens or terraces, letting spaces expand outward when weather allows. Courtyards at the centre of a home bring in light and airflow while offering a private, shielded outdoor pocket. Shading now matters as much as the space itself. Pergolas, deep overhangs and landscaping keep terraces usable through warmer months. Pools have shifted from decorative features toward functional extensions of daily life, positioned closer to living areas for regular use. The investment case behind outdoor-focused homes Outdoor amenities are starting to influence resale value and rental demand. Homes with well-

maintained gardens, functional terraces or waterfront access tend to attract stronger interest and shorter time on market. Families relocating to Abu Dhabi often prioritise outdoor space, since it affects how easily a household settles into a new environment. Developers have taken note, with new launches leading marketing around lifestyle imagery rather than interior finishes alone. Final thoughts Outdoor living has moved from a bonus to a genuine priority for Abu Dhabi homebuyers, driven by climate, lifestyle habits and a broader appetite for wellbeing. Communities that planned for this shift from the outset are setting the standard for what a welldesigned Abu Dhabi home should offer.
