PATRICK THORNE EDITOR Patrick has been a full time, year round, professional ski writer for 25 years. Nicknamed ‘The Snow Hunter’ he has located 6,000 ski areas in 80 countries and for the past decade has published a weekly bulletin of stories from ski resorts all around the planet, notching up more than 5,000 reports.

He has written a dozen books on skiing, received several awards, had his work translated in to more than 20 languages and was named ‘One of 20 People To know in Ski’ by The Times.

Dominic is described by many as a serial entrepreneur. His journey into Ski Publishing started when he founded Square Mile in 2002, providing Wi-Fi on yachts (before anybody knew what Wi-Fi was). Within just 4 years, BT bought the company. At the same time, Dominic sold an online marine publishing business that was less than 12 months old! With a small pot of other business interests, his ultimate aim was to create a business that fulfilled his passion for skiing. Identifying an obvious gap in the Ski Publishing market in the 2007/8 Ski Season, InTheSnow magazine was launched.

Debbie has a first-class, blue-chip background having worked for Reed Elsevier then Centrica for many years.

Having been a passionate skier for 15 years and an avid ski magazine reader, serial ski show-goer and mountain traveller, she totally understands what ski consumers want, and at the same time is an organisational wizard! She has an in-depth knowledge of the way InTheSnow works as a business having been involved since launch and now manages the entire production process in-house.

Lorna didn’t start skiing until she was on a school trip at 15 but was instantly hooked. The winter of 2012-2013 saw her swap the books and the call of the ordinary world for a five month season in the French alps. Weekends were spent working as an airport rep and the rest of the week was spent finding the best off-piste routes and watching the most talented freestyle skiers in the park. Lorna joined the team to blog about her seasonaire experiences and will continue working with us into the 14/15 season.
