Upper School Academic Programmes ISP High School Diploma
ISP IB Diploma Programme
ISP IB Career-Related Programme
The ISP High School Diploma, accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges in the US as well as the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports, allows students the flexibility to pursue our wide variety of International Baccalaureate and ISP elective courses in unique and flexible combinations.
As an IB World School, ISP is able to offer students a wide variety of academic choices within the IB Diploma Programme. With multiple course options in each of the six key subject areas, students can create an IB Diploma that meets their unique academic goals.
Through partnerships with universities and specialist training institutes both here in Prague and virtually, the IB Career-Related Programme at ISP offers students the opportunity to pursue a focused academic interest area to a very high level while also completing International Baccalaureate coursework here on campus.

IB Language A
Independent Study
Global Online Academy
Students who wish to take an IB Language A course in their mother tongue work with a supervised outside tutor to meet the requirements and preparation for the IB Language A course set by the IBO. These classes appear on the transcript; however, grades and credit are not awarded. Students complete all assessments for the IB and receive IB results.
Students may petition to fulfil up to one credit requirement with an independent study course. Proposals must outline a rationale, list the course of study, and state the evaluation process. Independent Studies are graded pass/fail.
GOA courses are available as an elective class. These courses are not added to the ISP transcript; a GOA transcript is provided.

All graduates receive a US high school diploma. We do not provide class rankings or GPAs. There is no ranking system that would adequately account for highly transitory international students. As a member of NACAC, ISP reports any significant incidents of academic dishonesty or behavioural misconduct.
Co-Curricular Activities ISP offers a wide range of activities, including a variety of CEESA sports, ISP Ambassadors, Model United Nations (MUN), National Honor Society (NHS), Speech & Debate, Earth Club, Knowledge Bowl, Media Correspondent, Duke of Edinburgh, Robotics, Aeronautics, Spectrum, Dance Crew, Drama productions, Amnesty International, community service, student government (STUCO), and others.
ISP Projects and Extended Learning Week Without Walls is a week-long experiential learning opportunity that provides students with a cultural, personal, interpersonal, and environmental experience. During this week, students learn, reflect, and grow both as individuals and as part of the community. Stretch Days are extended learning opportunities that are offered five times a year. These days provide additional time for special projects or subject-focused learning experiences. TEDxYouth is produced by ISP students. ISP‘s TEDxYouth allows students to work on every event component, including publicity, sound, media, programme, posters, theatre ticketing, and more.
