Interested in learning to climb, or to continue developing your climbing skills?

Basic and advanced climbing in ISB climbing wall (indoors) Climbing shoes and all equipment is provided by ISB

For beginner players who have never played, just played a little or even played more but still want to work on coordination, hitting controlled strokes, and/or movement They have no or limited tennis experience and are still working primarily on getting the ball into play

Body bar is a spin off from "body pump" but Coach Topping style! We will have a fun and ever changing workout using light/moderate weights The class focuses on cardio and conditioning, and is a fun workout to music without the stress of complex dance routines Come along and learn how to use weights correctly in a fun supportive environment

Differentiated levels within the class for beginners and intermediates This course is not designed for fluent Chinese speakers, but they may join!

In Destination Imagination (DI), students work together in small teams to solve open-ended STEM challenges and compete against other schools Students learn vital life and career skills creative thinking, critical thinking, public speaking, and team based problem-solving They imagine and innovate today so they become the creative and collaborative leaders of tomorrow Check out the global DI programme here Important: registration is for Fall AND Winter season with a tournament in February in London There will be a cost attached to the tournament Students are already pre-signed up for the winter season

Use your ISB account (your single sign-on (SSO) the same you are using for PowerSchool and the Community Portal). Just go to the SchoolsBuddy website, click the Azure AD button and it will sign you in.

American Boy Scout Troop 457 is open to boys from grade 6-12

Club Infinity is an opportunity for students to explore mathematical puzzles, problem solving and games with their peers In addition to recreational mathematics, students may choose to participate in different competitions including Mathcounts, Math Olympiad, AMC, and ISMTF Every Wednesday in MS 212/215 and MS Math Collaboration Space from 15:45-17:00 + optional Tuesdays or Thursdays after school (for competitions)

Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country Preparing and participating in MUN helps students develop leadership skills, research, writing, public speaking, and problem-solving skills Students can join the club to participate in simulations at school and can also choose to participate in international conferences throughout the year (optional)

NESDA (NEW EUROPEAN SPEECH AND DEBATE ASSOCIATION)

STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAM

ISB's NESDA is a club that covers 6 different events - Debate, Oral Interpretation of Literature, Original Oratory, Impromptu Speaking, Impromptu Duet Acting and Duet Acting This club is a great way to work on your confidence with public speaking and being comfortable in front of an audience As a club and team, students work on all six events during practices, choosing 2–3 events to concentrate on during tournaments that compete with 10 other Schools throughout Europe Students can join for each semester or for the whole year The club meets every Tuesday during HS lunch from 12:10-12:40 and every Thursday from 15:45–17:00 beginning December 5th in room 113 of the HS basement floor

This exciting Theatre festival, open to any student interested in Drama, in Grades 6, 7 & 8, will take place on January 16th through 19th 2025 at Destelheide Educational Centre in Belgium During this three-day festival, students will be collaborating with other International School students and working towards a production to be performed on the final day of the festival Students will leave ISB by bus during the afternoon on Thursday 16th and return during the afternoon on Sunday 19th January It is likely that we will return to Gare du Midi on Sunday, but this and exact times of travel will be confirmed later Accommodation is provided on the festival site for the duration of the event. Students will stay in dormitories at Destelheide. All meals will be provided at Destelheide from dinner Thursday, 16 January 2025 – lunch Sunday, 19 January 2025

ISB’s Private Music Lessons programme offers instrumental and vocal lessons to students of all ages on a flexible schedule The lessons are for students of all grades, and the instruments offered are the following:

Voice, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Clarinet, Oboe, Flute, Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone. Drums/Percussion, Guitar and Piano
