"The Raiders have shaped me into being more disciplined, caring, communicative, and selfless, through showing me the value of teamwork and trusting said team, communicating rather than assuming understanding, hard work and discipline instead of luck. My most memorable moment in sports at ISB is probably when we won the championshipundefeatedinAmericanFootballthisyear.Winningwiththat teamaftersomuchuncertaintywasindescribable.

"Being a Raider has shaped me in so many ways. It has taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline, commitment, and communication. Through the losses and wins I have experienced, I have grown more confident, resilientandsupportiveofothers.
My most memorable moment was winning the ISST swim championship with my team – something the school hadn’t achieved in over 20 years –and breaking the Mixed Medley Relay record with my teammates! Being part of competitive teams has shown me the value of teamwork and strengthened my leadership skills, which I hope to carry into my future studies. My advice to younger students? Just go for it! ISB is the perfect placetoexploreyourinterestsandfindyourpassions."

"Joining ISB gave me the chance to experience sport in a team environment, which completely changed the way I see both athletics and people. Swimming has taught me discipline, structure, and how to push myselfalongsideothers.
My most memorable moment was winning ISSTs this year with the swim team. Itwasn’tjustabouttheresult, buttheatmosphere, theenergy, and the feeling of pushing together with my teammates. That whole experience showed me that sport is about more than competition – it’s aboutpeople, support, andteamwork. Sport has shown me that it should stay part of my life no matter what I study. In the future, I want to continue swimming while at university and keep challenging myself with others in a teamenvironment.”

“I’ve played basketball all four years at ISB, and this year I was captain of the Varsity Girls team. Being a Raider has taught me the importance of commitment, teamwork, and giving my best effort. While there are high expectations to be dedicated and strive to win, there’s also a strong emphasis on enjoying the experience and remembering we are a high school team. That balance has carried over into my academic life. Every teamandathleteisequallyvalued, whichIreallyappreciate.
Balancing athletics and academics has meant staying organised and using my time well, and we are lucky to have teachers and coaches who understandthelevelofcommitmentbothdemand.
