How to take the ISB Late Bus
This service is currently free of charge and unsupervised.
ISB Late Buses are now being integrated into the BatOnRoute Safe App. The late bus service is available from Monday to Thursday with prior registration. Late bus routes have predetermined bus stops and do not cater to home addresses. Late buses are available for students in grade 5 and above.
Identify which bus route will be easiest for your student to get home using
Make sure your student knows the bus stop they will be getting off at.
Please note, there are 2 different late bus departure times:
- 17:20 departure: Buses 50, 51, 52
- 18:15 departure: Buses 60, 61, 62
For all students in ILS, and students in ECC (Grades 1 & 2) and ES (Grades 3 & 4) who must be accompanied by an older sibling in the Upper School, the registration form will only take effect upon approval from the ISB PLUS; please direct requests to isbplus@isb.be
Students must go independently to the Château parking under the tents 5 minutes before the late bus departure For a campus map
When boarding the bus, students need to check if they are marked on the tablet if not they need to add themselves. The bus will only stop at stops populated by names.
Parents should be at the bus stop to collect lower school students 5-10 minutes before as traffic changes daily. Delays may occur at peak hours or with bad weather.
Should for any reason a student miss their stop or be on the wrong bus, they will be taken back to ISB campus and will be waiting to be collected by a responsible adult at the Metairie Guardhouse
