G5&6CIVICENGAGEMENT
It was a busy and inspiring week for our Lower School learners, filled with meaningful opportunitiesforciviclearningandglobalengagement.

Last Friday, we began on campus with a visit from a political adviser to a Member of the European Parliament. Students gained insight into the role, responsibilities, and impact of the European Parliament, prompting thoughtful questions and discussions about how European institutionsinfluencedecision-makingandeverydaylife.
On Tuesday, our Grade 5 students traveled to Brussels for an immersive visit to the European Parliament. They toured the Hemicycle, where plenary sessions take place, and explored the Parlamentariumexhibition, whichtracesthehistory oftheEuropeanUnion, thejourneysofitsmember states, andcurrentglobalissuesconnectedtoEU policy.Theseexperienceshelpedstudentsconnect classroomlearningwithreal-worldapplications.
