Student-artists of all ages have been very busy in the last few weeks. Our Elementary School performers hosted Arts in Atrium, showcasing their diverse talents in singing, dancing,magic,andstand-upcomedy,andMiddleSchoolstudentsengagedinadeep exploration of art, architecture, and cultural identity as part of their Arts Field Trip to Paris Our HS student-performers have been rehearsing for the High School Theatre Production,Lovin’It,whichwillbeanincredibleperformanceattheISBTheatreon20& 21November
Our Athletics Team are also having an exciting week, with the 2025 Fall ISST Championships taking place both on campus and at international schools in Munich, Paris, Frankfurt, Zurich, London, The Hague, and Vienna. For Serve the City, a global movement of volunteers showing kindness in practical ways to people in need, students raised 452 euros to purchase winter bags to support those without housing this Winter To help the project reach its goal of 2500bags,ourparentcommunityalsocametogethertosponsorbags.

Nutrition for Growing Bodies
Support immunity, energy, and concentration
Eat colourful, seasonal fruits & vegetables
Include protein at every meal
Healthy snacks
Limit sugary snacks and drinks
Involve kids in picking or preparing snacks – fun and educational!
Mental Wellbeing
Manage stress, mood swings, and seasonal changes
Spend time outdoors – natural light improves mood
Encourage creative expression
Social connections
Teach mindfulness or breathing exercises for stress

Sleep and Routine
Age recommendations :
3-5 years: 10-13 hours of sleep (naps included)
6-12 years: 9-12 hours
13-18 years 8-10 hours
Keep a consistent bedtime, even on weekends
Limit screens 1 hour before bed to help natural sleep cycles
A short wind-down routine (reading, stretching, calm music) helps younger children
Prevent Illness
Reduce colds, flu, and infections
Hand hygiene: teach proper washing, especially before meals
Cover coughs/sneezes with elbow or tissue
Ventilate rooms to reduce indoor germs
Stay home when sick to recover faster and avoid spreading germs
