Personalised learning is a teaching practice that allows educators to support students’ unique needs and abilities with customised learning pathways.
Personalization
Personalisation is about creating optionality, allowing learners and educators to make strategic choices to support an individual’s learning journey.
Rather than providing each student with the same assignments, assessments and milestones, teachers can use personalised learning to offer materials suited to students’ unique backgrounds, abilities and preferred learning modalities.
Personalisation is an educational philosophy. To make it happen educators must adopt a systems approach, developing many connected and mutually supporting activities.

Pathways to Excellence
At ISB, we are committed to personalized pathways for all students. We also know that some students have strong drive to achieve in a certain domain, so we are creating “Pathways to Excellence”. With our students we will design a challenging plan for their growth and development in specific areas of expertise; students will receive bespoke support to achieve their goals and potential. We will do this through a combination of mentorship, connections with external partners, thoughtful academic planning and providing a range of customized support for individual students to achieve excellence in ways not possible at other international schools.

● Use “Student Completion” to provide a pathway of learning activities based on student learning needs
