Dear Community,

Thank you to everyone who gave to the Fund for Excellence during the 2024-2025 school year. Through the generosity of parents, staff, faculty, grandparents, alumni families, grandparents, and our valued corporate and foundation partners, we raised $333,276 for our annual fund.

Your contributions helped us provide the dynamic, inquiry-driven education that our students experienced throughout the year, which has been the hallmark of International School of Brooklyn since its founding in 2005. Over the past two decades, ISB has grown from a bold idea into a thriving community of students, families, and educators united by a shared mission and values. As we reflect on our journey, we are reminded that the success of our school is made possible thanks to your enduring commitment.

This school year marks ISB’s 20th anniversary, a milestone we celebrate with pride and a renewed sense of purpose. As we honor this legacy, we invite you to continue your generous support by making ISB part of your giving in our 20th year. Your investment ensures that ISB will flourish for the next generation of learners. Your support honors our past, enriches our present, and helps shape our next chapter.

We are deeply grateful for the time, energy, and resources you devoted to ISB this year, and we look forward to continuing our partnership together as we imagine what the next 20 years will bring.

With sincere appreciation,

The Annual Fund for Excellence sustains what makes ISB exceptional: our distinctive blend of language immersion and inquiry-based learning. Contributions directly strengthen the core of our program, bringing studies to life through field trips, experiential opportunities, and hands-on workshops; ensuring our faculty have access to ongoing professional development that keeps them at the forefront of their fields; and providing the resources, facilities, and technologies that empower teaching and learning at the highest level. In short, the fund fuels the daily excellence that defines an ISB education.

WAYS TO GIVE

Every gift strengthens ISB’s community.

Make

a Gift or a Pledge

Fuel the 202 Fund for Excellence with a gift today: online, by check, or by pledge. Your commitment ensures ISB can plan boldly for the year ahead. Pledges are due by June 30, 2026.

Matching Gifts

Double, or even triple, your impact! Many employers match donations 1:1 or 2:1. Ask your HR team if your company matches donations.

Appreciated Stock

Amplify your giving through stock gifts. Donating appreciated stock may provide tax benefits while advancing ISB’s 202 vision.

Gifts in Kind

Support ISB by contributing products, services, or event sponsorships, whether for our Spring Benefit, Pecha Kucha, or other community gatherings. Every gift and talent helps bring our 202 Fund for Excellence to life.

Volunteer

Your time is powerful. Join our Fund for Excellence Ambassadors and help inspire others to give during this milestone year. Together, we can grow a culture of philanthropy at ISB. Reach out to advancement@isbrooklyn.org to get involved.

Contact the Advancement Office at advancement@isbrooklyn.org if you have any questions or need assistance.

Fund for excellence

Celebrating our first 20 years. Building our next 20.

For 20 years, ISB has built a strong community and nurtured resilient individuals who become adventurers, advocates, changemakers, and leaders. Our students are inquisitive, principled, open-minded, and caring risk-takers who thoughtfully engage with the world.

This year, as we celebrate two decades of ISB, the Fund for Excellence (FFE) — our 20² annual fund — invites you to honor our past and invest in our future. Together, our community aims to raise at least $400,000 by June 30, 2026, to fuel what tuition alone cannot: author visits, field trips, teacher training, and campus improvements that enrich every student’s experience.
